I throw the letter away and hope it was just a hoax. How could they hurt my friends? I head back to my dorm and run into Eliza and Skylar on the way. We talk for a bit about what happened. I go to my dorm to find Ivy painting over the hearts she drew.
"He is fine. Don't worry," I tell her.
"What if I dated Kyle?"
"Kyle?"
"Eliza's cousin from the party.
I smile "I know who he is I just don't know if he is your type."
"Whatever."
The next day we go to all of our classes but then we have gym.First we have to run laps. I'm an okay runner because I worked hard at my home but I'm not great. I have never seen my friends run so this will be interesting. We all change into work out clothes. Our teacher tells us to run six laps around the track. I see Ivy put headphones into her ears and Skylar and Eliza go sit down. I guess Skylar doesn't want to run. When we begin running I notice Ivy is singing. She is insane! I see Sebastian come later. I guess he is out of the infirmary. After we do our laps we. Talk about the rules of the class. We will have it for two months.
We go back to our dorms and I decide to go see if Cole is okay. I head to the infirmary.
"Can I see Cole Hansaroni?"
"I'm sorry but he is quarantined," the lady at the front desk says.
"QUARANTINED! What? why? What happened?" Why would they do that!
"We are afraid it is contagious."
"Can I at least see him!"you can see him but there is 3 inches of glass between you and him."
I go to where he is. I am required to put on a mask and latex gloves. When I get there he doesn't look well. He seems pale and his lips are blue as if he has hypothermia. He sees me and he gives me a worried look.
"You shouldn't be here. You could catch it," he mouths to me.
"I don't care," I mouth back taking of the stupid mask.
A nurse grabs my shoulder. "You need to go! Someone else has caught it. We are bringing them in."
I look over towards the gurney the doctors are bringing in. I can't believe who it is.
