The next day I wake up to the someone knocking. I go outside and see a letter.

We have done our job differently than we expected. Your friends will be spared for now.

Sebastian.

I go to the infirmary and ask if I can see Sunny and Cole.

"They are being released in about 15 min. A cure was placed in our medicine cabinets. We would try anything. Luckily it worked."

I go sit in the waiting room.
Why would they just try randomness on my friends. I guess it was a new disease and they had to try anything. A while later Sunny and Cole walk out. They both smile when they see me.

"Hey," Cole says. Sunny smiles happily. They both look exhausted. Sunny walks up to me and hugs me. Her hands are freezing!

"Your hands are cold!"

"It will be like that for a few months." She says.

"Hey Cole, what's up?" I say.

"The sky," he smirks. He's back to normal again.

"Ha ha," I say sarcastically.

Sunny's voice gets sad, "I saw them roll his body in and later I heard the intercom. How did it happen?"

"He was in the woods."

"Oh that's re-," she bursts out crying. "I told myself I wouldn't do this."

I look at Cole. He nods sadly.

"I'm so sorry," I tell her.

Cole comes to her. His voice gets soft "You are going to be okay. Remember what I said before." He brushes the loose hairs out of her face. She stops crying and hugs him. It looks a bit awkward because he is quite a bit taller than her.

"How did you do that?" I mouth to Cole.

"I know how her mind works," he mouths back.

Sunny lets go of Cole "I have to go outside I haven't been for a few days."

With that she leaves.

"If you have been locked in a room with a person for a few days you begin to talk."
