"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm just painting."

"Hearts with C's in them." I say suspiciously.

"Yeah I love cholera." she says.

"Think about what you just said," I say.

"Oh! I meant cauliflower."

"So you paint hearts with C's in them?"

"Sure."

I realized how long I was taking. "I have to go." I say.

I grab my bag and leave. "Sorry, I got distracted."

"It's fine. Let's go" he says.

We start walking and I realize I don't have any money. "I didn't bring any money" I say.

"It's alright I can pay. It's you who had a bad day."

We walk to a nearby Starbucks and we order. "I have never been to Starbucks," I say.

"That's crazy! I'm happy I could be the first person to take you here. It can be 'our place' now."

We walk to our table and I say "That would be awesome."

"So are you going to the dance?" He asks.

"No my boyfriend canceled on me," I say.

"Will you go with me?" He asks hopefully.

"I would love that!" I say

We talk about random stuff and just hang out for the next hour and then we walk back to the school. The weekend ends tomorrow and we have to go back.
I go to my dorm and Ivy is gone. I flop on my bed and think.

Today has been crazy. I loam my friends and made one new one. I tried Starbucks and was asked to the dance twice. I broke up with my boyfriend. Now my best friend is crushing on him.

I decide to practice using my powers. I get a glass of water and try to manipulate it. I see a small ripple but people in the dos next to me are blasting music so that could be the reason.

Ivy walks in. She looks lovestruck. What has she been up to.

"What have you been doing?"

"Nothing," she says dazed.

I just let it go and try to sleep.
