(Delilah's POV)
I felt his breath on my face as he lent into me to unwrap the blind fold from over my face, it was always a shock to see his amazing eyes and having them right in front of me made me gasp and take in fathoms of his wonderful scent. We stood, for an uncountable moment, staring at each other before a sudden rush of light escaped from the opening door behind me, very closely followed by the voices of both my parents.
Before I looked back Nial grasped my chin hard, his hands not hurting me though.
"Bye..." He whispered, his breath caressing me once more. And with that he was gone, in the blink of an eye his soft hands were replaced by those loving, scared ones of my mother and father.

"OhmyGod Delilah! Where on earth have you been you stupid girl? I was worried sick!" My mom shrieked, her tears clouding up her voice and shaking her breathing violently.
"Oh, dear God! Delilah, you're covered in blood! Why Delilah, why are you all bloody" She continued, moving in front of me and clutching way too hard at my arms. I glanced down at my jacket, seeing only then, just how dishevelled I was looking. My coat had a large rip trailing out from the right pocket and another where the zipper was attached to the breast section of the red stained material.
"Oh, I... I was, um, my car broke down and I was waving a car down to help me. I thought it would stop but it didn't so I had to jump out of the way and... I fell." I lied in response after a moments rushed thought. "Someone stopped to help me though; eventually." I added hastily.
"Why did you go out?" She shouted, flinching as my father put his hand on her shuddering shoulder gently.
"The neighbours dear... lets go inside." He said, quietly but with almost intimidating will power.
"...Yes, yes." She nodded, letting her harsh grip on me slide and my father ushered us inside the suburban house in which we resided.
My sister was asleep but not for long as the very second the door was shut, keeping out the cold air, my mother and father raised their voices far above normal speaking.
"How dare you just disappear like that?" My father shouted, "Do you have any idea what you put your mother through?"
"I'm sorry!" I yelled, "I needed to get out-" but I was quickly interrupted by my mother.
"You cannot just leave and stay out like that after such the day we've had!"
"WE? WE have not had 'such a day' like that! I've had a terrible day! I've had a terrible day and no one seems to care! I have lost some of my closest friends and quite frankly have a shit time since!" I shouted, raising my voice to similar levels.
"Don't you dare talk to us like that! We do nothing but care for you and this is how you repay us!" My dad interjected.
"Yeah, you look after me but you sure as hell don't care!"
"You don't appreciate us at all do you?" My mom cried, her voice suddenly turning to a whisper.
"Yes I do, I just wish you'd try and understand and... sympathise a little." I admitted, ducking my head to hide the suggestion of tears. Before I could catch another upsetting word or disgusted glare from my 'loving' parents I turned quickly and stalked upstairs, running from the consequences instead of either crying or shouting in its face.
My feet felt heavy as I trudged up the stairs but my head felt light as it span and writhed, filled with images that swam from and amongst my imagination.
"Shit..." I breathed, tears exploding from my eyes and harsh ripping breath churning from my lungs. I knew so much more than I had earlier but I still had very little knowlege of what to do with myself; I was feeling very low and very empty.
I threw off my jacket and quickly shoved it behind my back as my ltiile sister Natalie waddled from her room, a yawn forming on her mouth.
"What happened Dee?" She asked me, wiping her hand across her tired eyes.
"Nothing." I lied. " I just went out and lost track of time." I sighed, turning away from her so she didn't see my bloodied jacket or the tears that had begun to rush down my face.
"Dee? Whats wrong?" She asked, clearly upset at my reluctance to talk.
"Nothing... go to bed Nat." I said, trying to keep my voice and breathing as even as I could.
"But Dee-" She began but was interupted by me.
"I said go to bed, Dee." I ordered, not looking at her. "Please."
"Okay." She sighed, plodding back the way she had come, sounding down cast.
I felt guilty but was a little more than reluctant to let her see me as upset as I was; that would have just upset her further. I flung my jacket down and asessed the damage of my body.
Staring into my bedroom mirror I saw I had large bruises snaking around my upper arms and one even bigger bruise that covered almost all of my left side travelling from my thigh right up to my shoulder blade where I had rolled roughly onto my back. I also had a cut running up my arm and another, far scarier cut that had left an ugly smear of blood sat on my neck. I could also see a big bruise forming under my right eye. It would be fun trying to explain that to my friends the next day!
But it was then I realized that I still needed things explaining to me!
What was it Nial had said? The name? What was it?
Who were his friends?
What in the name of God, was going on?!
