"Lilah... Lilah... are you alright?" Stevie leaned over me, the stench of alcohol clinging to him.

"Ugh!" I groaned, rolling over, the taste of vomit and, again, alcohol in my mouth. Yummy!...

"Good." Stevie grinned down at me, "Cause there's someone here to see you!" He chirruped.

"What?! Stevie, what the hell happened?" I ran my hands through my hair, the only good thing about throwing up was that you didn't really get a hang-over afterwards... just really bad breath. "Tasha! Where's Tasha?"

"I'm here." She croaked from across the room, where ever the hell we were.

"Don't worry... we're back at mine." Stevie smiled gently as he saw me look around in confusion. "Mom crashed out - pissed - in my room so we're having to use the guest room."

"Stevie what happened?" I asked, rubbing my hands over my face groggily, tired and sore.

"Nial will explain..." Stevie backed away, dragging Tasha with him as they left the room quietly.

"Nial? But... what the hell?" I frowned, my head throbbing. "My brain hurts."

"Sorry about that!" Nial chuckled at me, helping me sit up carefully. "Walk with me." He offered his hand, pulling my up to his chest into a hug. "You feeling steady enough."

"Yeah, I'm fine." I smiled, "Mom."

"Oh, burn." He laughed, putting on a stupid girly accent. "I guess I was asking for that."

"Well, are we going on this walk or not?!" I grinned, grabbing my jumper before Nial tackled it from my hands and slid it over my head with utmost care. Okay, so my head maybe was getting a little sore... never mind, Nial seemed to make me feel much better.

"Let's go." Nial grasped a hold of my hand and walked me slowly down the drive and we began to make our way across the park in contented silence. After a long while of just being happy listening to his breathing, my curiosity got the better of me and I couldn't help but ask Nial what was going ond if there were anymore vampires around.

"Nial? Are you ever intending on telling me what happened and why you're here?" I asked,  breaking the silence.

"Well I was kinda wondering how long it'd take you to ask." He shrugged jokingly.

"Funny." I replied flatly before he laughed and carried on.

"Fine, I was... I was at the party..."

"What?! Why? Did you follow me?" I snapped quickly, my cheeks instantly heating up.

"No. No, I swear. We just wanted to be sure that no-one would get hurt seen as it was a big gathering you know!?" Nial raised his hands defensively... blushing slightly? No?!

"Oh, cool." I dipped my head to conceal the blush.

"Oh, and by the way, you're a crap swimmer." Nial gave a little laugh, not quite enthusiastic enough though.

"Oh shit." I breathed, I was hoping he hadn't seen that. "Nial, I'm sorry for flirting..." I whispered quietly.

"It's fine." He brushed off, turning away from me quickly, cracking his knuckles.
