Chapter 3

I sat in the sand as the sun set with beautiful colors, there was no one else on the beach, just me
I listened to the waves crash on shore, the seagulls wail
About a week ago I was shot but by now I had recovered for the most part, from hydra, their experiments made me able to heal faster
I checked my wound, it was without a doubt leaving a scar
When I thought I was alone, I wasn't, they were just quiet
I stood up to walk to the water, I put my feet in, it was warm and freeing
"Enjoying the water?" the person watching me says
I turn around and hold them up by their throat with my powers "who- Steve?" I lower him
"Bucky asked me to check on you" he says and walks closer to me
"How does he know I'm here?" I ask trying to remember if I told him or not, I didn't
"Tony knows" he responds and sits in the sand waiting for me to sit next to him
"He put a tracker on me, didn't he?" I ask and he nods, I go to sit next to him
"Now I know why you come out here so much" Steve says looking at the sunset
"Yeah, it's nice" I say and lay down
Steve does the same, "I'm sorry I wasn't the one to save you, I just knew Bucky would grab you, and I'm sorry I made you come"
"You waited a week to apologize?"
"I didn't know how to say it, but you did throw me into a wall and knock me out"
"Because you made me come, and plus you're luck I didn't kill you"
"I saw Bucky kiss you"
My heart drops, Bucky kissed me to get me back and Steve held my arms, how could he not see
   "Look I'm sorry- "
   "Yn, I understand"
   "You- what"
   "You know I'm still hung up on Peggy and I only showed interest in you for you"
   "Bucky didn't ask you to come, did he?"
   "No"
   I lean on his shoulder and put my arm around him, he does the same
   We walk back to the car in silence and he brings me back to the tower
   When we walk in all the lights are off, and the elevator is down
   "Power went out"
   "The power doesn't go out"
   "I'll just turn it back on then we'll head upstairs together okay?"
   "Sounds good"
   I channel all of the power and energy I have and use another ability Loki showed me but couldn't do himself, thors power, he may be the god of thunder but I'm known as the goddess of chaos and power
   A rush of electricity flows through me and to the building, making the lights flick on and the elevator ping
   Steve and I step in the elevator and press the top level where everyone would be, Steve steps out first with his shield ready, I create a hologram double of me and I stay in the elevator while the not real me follows Steve
   "No one's here" Steve says making me actually walk out of the elevator
   "Steve, I don't feel good about this" I take another step and stop
   "Me either" he replies
   "Are they on a mission?"
   "We were only gone an hour"
   "I'm gonna call Bucky"
   I call him and let it ring, and ring, then he picks up, "where are you?", then a silence seems so loud
   A Russian accent replies, "he's with us", my heart sinks as I realize, hydra got him, fear struck me so hard I drop my phone
   "Yn?" Steve voice echos in my head and the world spins as my eyes get teary
   Steve runs to me seeing as I looked woozy, he grabs me by the shoulders and tries to get me to speak, "what happened?!?! Yn?!?!?"
   "Hydra got Bucky" is all I say before I regain my vision and went to go put clothes on that weren't a flowy dress
   I came out and Steve was suited up too, I called buckys phone again while Steve drove
   "Hello again" the hydra agent speaks
   "Where is he?"
   "Wouldn't you like to know" the man chuckles
   "Yes I would!"
   "I'll give you a hint, we're in the mountains"
Then they hung up
Steve looked at me as I tried to figure it out but realized Steve would be more help
"He said they're in the mountains, what does that mean"
"Uhhhh, mountains?"
"Steve!"
"What mountains?"
"Wait they have a base in the Appalachian mountains"
We drove a little bit then I flew there the rest of the way, believe it or not there was a base there but it was guarded like palisades nuclear power plant
I landed back on the ground and left Steve about a mile away while I went in
I broke in a classy way, I broke through the gates, fought off around 20-25 armed guards at the entrance, I killed a few, knocked out a few
One of the guards pressed the alarm, but I had no clue where they were
As the alarm buzzed I walked closer to the building and someone shot me in the shoulder
I turned around and the guard didn't try to shoot me again, he just ran
