Chapter 11

Bucky

   She had put on a beautiful yellow dress, yellow was her signature color
   The dress was knee length, slightly poofy, spaghetti straps, and a brown leather belt, she looked amazing in it
   We were driving in her black BMW, I was driving she was sitting in the passenger seat gazing at all the city lights glowing in the darkness even though it was only 7 pm, her gaze was unbroken by any sound or bump or any thought she had
   I wanted to say something but she looked so beautiful I didn't want to bother her
    Her eyes sparkled, her hair in a perfect loose braid, her lips a soft pink color, her hands set softly on her lap holding each other, her nails long and black, she painted them so carefully

Yn

   I could tell Bucky was looking at me, I wonder what he was thinking
   I just stared off into the lights of the city, they were glowing rather bright because the sun had set so early
   Just like Bucky was looking at me I kept glancing at him, he seemed deep in thought, he's probably thinking about me, I know I could check but I dont want to, I want to stay out of his head tonight
   We both wanted to say something but decided not to because we were too amazed by the others so deep in thought
   I continued to stare until we got to the restaurant, no wonder Bucky told me to put on my fancy dress, it was one of the fanciest in the city
   "Bucky this place is too nice" I say
   He walks over to me, gently grabs my hands, and "you are nicer darling" he walks me inside, holding the door for me too, and pulling out my chair
   We ordered and talked while we waited, "what did you do while I was gone?" I asked
   "Finished the mission, trained, and looked for you" he smiled lightly
   After a little bit of talking, the waitress came with our food, we both got sushi
   "Thank you Bucky"
   "Don't thank me till the end of the night"
   I wonder what he means by that, maybe because he hasn't paid yet, no we paid on the way in, I do wonder what he meant
   After dinner we sat there and Bucky ordered us dessert, a chocolate moose
   "Why are you treating me so much?" I ask but still eat the food
   "I haven't seen you in like a year and a half" he responds
   After awhile I finish the dessert and we sit there for awhile until Bucky says something to interrupt the silence
   "Yn I love you with my whole heart I hope you know that" he begins and I get worried
   "I've known you for damn near 100 years and I'm so glad I did because I wouldn't be here right now if I didn't" he kneels on the ground and my heart races
   My eyes glow, I cover my mouth with my hands, Bucky pulls a small box out of his pocket and opens it to reveal a ring, nearly bringing me to happy tears
   "Yn I have wanted to do this for years now, I got this ring the day we escaped" he continues
   "Yn would you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me" he finishes
   He gently grabs my hand and I nod my head yes
"Yes yes yes a thousand times yes" I say, he slides the ring on my hand and I kiss him
   "Oh Bucky I love you so much" I hug him
   "I love you too yn" he holds me while everyone in the restaurant claps
   "Is this why we're going to see Tony?" I ask still happy crying
   "Yea" he responds not letting me go
   We detach from each other and leave the restaurant to drive to the compound
   We get there and again Bucky gets the doors for me, we take the elevator up to the main room and see that it's not just Tony there, it's everyone, no one was expecting me either
   Everyone rushes over to hug me, Tony first, he hugs me for awhile, "I'm so glad you're alive" he whispers in my ear while hugging me
   Tony takes a step back to look at me then remembers something, "there's actually someone I want you to meet" he says and everyone moves aside to reveal Wanda maximoff, I get scared but don't show it
   I walk up to her and shake her hand, "I'm yn" I introduce myself
   "I'm Wanda maximoff" she introduces herself, her accent is strong, it's a sokovian accent
   Nat finally hugs me, "you almost scared me" she knew I would survive
   Steve just stares at me in awe, he smiles when he sees my hand, "I missed you" he hugs me
   Sam comes from behind Steve, "don't do that" he says then brings me in for a hug
   I look at Wanda again, I think about talking to her but don't because she hasn't done anything wrong yet
  "Tony can we talk for a second" I ask and he nods then walks to his office with me
   The door shuts and he doesn't waste a second in asking what
   "So what's up?" He asks
   I show him my hand with the ring on it and he smiles then hugs me, "I'm happy for you"
   "Also Wanda" I say
   "What about her"
   "Does she have powers?"
   "Yes why"
   "She could use it to kill me"
   "You're immortal"
   "Not against her and if she weakens me enough I could become mortal"
   "How is that possible?"
   "I'm not sure but it is"
   "Make friends with her"
   "I'll try but if I die before you it's your fault"
   We both walk back out and Wanda gives me a look, not good or bad but it worries me
   I walk into my room at the compound and see it hasn't been touched
   Bucky hugs me from behind, "we have to head home darling"
   I turn around to look at him, "actually can we stay here tonight, Zoey has food in her bowl"
   "Okay" he says and flops on the bed
I climb on top of him and just think of everything that happened today, how happy I was
"I can't wait to marry you Bucky Barnes" I smile at him
"Yn Barnes does have a good ring to it" he responds and kisses me
