Chapter 19

Tony

I was sitting in my office, drinking a cup of coffee, and typing add ons to Jarvis
The music was playing in the background and Bucky came in and sat down
He looks like he wants to say something or he is about to say something
"You were wrong" he laughs
"What?" I ask
"It's not as hard as it looks stark" he laughs again
"What"
"I put a ring on it at 47"
I laugh knowing he's joking about how I couldn't marry pepper because she kept getting mad and heartbroken and left until recently
He laughs with me she brings it in for a hug that I accept
He leaves and I decide I should probably go upstairs to talk to people
I walk up and see Steve, nat, Wanda, Clint, and vision standing around the counter
"It's definitely not mine" nat says
"I'm not seeing anyone" Wanda says
"Maybe yn?" Steve suggests
"What are you guys on about?" I ask
I walk to the end of the counter and nat slides me a positive pregnancy test
My jaw drops, "who's is it?" I ask
"We think yn's" Wanda nervously says
Just then yn and Bucky walk through the door, "we've never had a meeting in the kitchen before" yn jokes
"What is this" I hold the test up so she can see it
She smiles and looks at Bucky, "I told you it would be funny" she laughs and jokes with Bucky
"This is funny for you?" I ask
"Jesus Tony chill out" yn takes the test from me
"Yn are you pregnant?" I ask and stand infront of her
"Yup, you solved the mystery" she smiles at everyone
I'm surprised on how chill she was about it, everyone hugs her and says congratulations
"Can I talk to you please yn" I ask her and point to my office
"Yeah of course" she smiles and follows me into
My office
"Why wouldn't you tell me?" I ask
"I wanted you all to find out the same way, you find the test on the table" she says
"How long have you been?"
"We're going to the doctor tomorrow to find out actually"
"How long do you think?"
"Well I've had symptoms or whatever since our honeymoon so I think longer than a few weeks"
I smile as I watch her look down at her stomach, run her hand over the small baby bump that was forming and smile
"I have to go help Bucky, we have to get home, I just wanted to tell you guys" she hugs me then leaves
Her and Bucky walk out and drive to their house which yn intelligently put off of any map

Bucky

Yn figured out she can heal by putting my cells back together
I was mostly healed by the time we had the appointment, it was just a little sore
Yn was up before me so she was already in the shower and had my clothes laying on the dresser
I remembered Zoey and that Clint and his family took her while we were on our honeymoon
I walked in the bathroom where yn was showering, "are we getting Zoey after the appointment?" I asked
"Yeah I'll text Clint" she answered and pulled the towel off the hook and hopped out of the shower
She dried off her hair with the towel and purposely splashing me with water after flipping her hair
I get out so she can get dressed and so I can too
She got me a pair of jeans, a tight navy blue shirt (it's supposed to be tight), and socks
She wore white slacks with a loose dark yellow sweater and black flats
"I can't believe your style could get better" i walk over to her, gently put my hands on her hips and kiss her
"Maybe it's the baby" she smiles
"Speaking of, are you ready" I ask and start putting my boots on
"Yup" she grabs her purse and checks her wallet for everything
I drive but still notice yn smiled the whole way there while looking out the window at the morning fog
We get there and get signed in and put in a room while we waited for the doctor
The doctor walks in, "yn I heard you found out you are planning on a little you" the doctor smiled
"We are yes" yn responds
"Are we just doing an ultrasound today?" The doctor asked
"That's what we were planning on but if you have anything else you think I should do, we can"
"No this is all we need" the doctor grabs the ultrasound machine and has yn lay down on the bed
She lifts yn's shirt up and squirts some gel on her stomach then spreads it around
"You two found out 2 days ago?" The doctor looks concerned
"Yes why" yn says back
"You look about 3 months along" the doctor starts moving the probe around
Yn looks up at me, "3 months?" She asks
The doctor moves it around a little more then stops, "I take that back, these guys say four" the doctor smiles
"Holy shit" yn says but still smiles
"I was wondering why this bump was so big" the doctor looks at the screen
"Wait did you say there were multiple?" I ask and yn's face goes pale
"From the looks of it, twins, and luckily for you two, one boy, one girl" the doctor points at the screen
We both stand there speechless until the doctor breaks the silence, "you weren't planning on two were you?" She asks
"Nope" I say
Yn smiles, her thoughts leak out a little so I can see she's thinking about me as a dad
"They're getting loud again" I whisper in her ear and she collects her thoughts
We leave and get in the car, Yn immediately let her thoughts explode out of her mind but not all thoughts are good
One thought I saw was she didn't want our kids to end up like her and Tony, one unwanted and halfway across the globe
She thought of the pain her and I went through and how hard she would fight to keep the kids out of it
He thoughts kept getting darker so I put my hand on hers and rubbed it with my thumb
"We'll protect them" I reassure her
"Buck" she lets a few more thoughts, one of Steve and I
Steve time traveled to spend his life with Peggy, leaving me alone after his death
"What's that" I ask
"I saw something awhile ago when I was shot" she says
"What is it?"
"I'm not sure but it's the only time I was able to do something like that"
I stay quiet and drive while thinking about that, yn sits there rubbing her baby bump
