Chapter 41

Yn

   "FUCK YOU!" I yell as I struggle to escape from their grasp
   Bucky and sadie cry as they hold each other, Sage standing by, a straight face and no tears
   "LET ME GO!" I kick, trying to find my footing but they drag me too fast
   Steve and nat toss me into the cell, I land on my side and roll once
   I stand up as fast as I can and run at the door while it's still open but they close it before I get there
   "YOU CANT KEEP ME IN HERE FOREVER!" I bang on the glass
   The majority of them walk away, the only people staying were Steve, nat, Bucky, and the girls
   "We will keep you in here until we think you aren't dangerous" Steve says
   "I'm not dangerous!" I yell as I'm on my hands and knees
   I see my therapist walk in with her clipboard and a briefcase
   She walks up to the glass, "I'm sorry but this was the only option" she sets the briefcase down on the ground
   "You had plenty of options!!" I stand up and get close to the glass
   I feel an electric shock travel through my body, and not a good one, it was painful
   I fall back to the floor in pain as my body trembles
   "I'm not here for you" my therapist says
   "Then why are you here" I stay on the ground because I don't want to get shocked again
   "For your daughters" my eyes shoot up to her, why would she want my kids
   "Why?" I ask
   "They are going to take a test, for insanity" she turns around to them and Bucky
   "Wait- wait- wait" I take a deep breath and stand up slowly, "what will you do if they are?" I ask
   "Hope they aren't as bad as you" she puts a collar on both of them
   "They didn't do anything!" I yell, the collars aren't necessary
   "But they could" she takes Sage into another room as Bucky is still hugging Sadie
   "Buck..." I say softly
   "I'm sorry" he says
   I start to hang on the glass in hopes it would break
   "Stop" Bucky walks up to the glass and puts his hand up
   "I'm okay, I just didn't want you to hurt anyone else" he's the reason I'm in here
   It's not entirely his fault, but someone was shooting at him and I didn't want him to get hurt and from the looks of it I went too far
   "Sadie..." she turns away from me, I can feel her pain, she doesn't want me in here but she knows it's necessary
   "Sadie please" I plead for her to come over here
   "Please" she finally turns around and walks up to me
   Bucky backs up so she can talk to me, "go to slokov, there you will be queen, and tell them to build the wall, Sadie please" I whisper to her so Bucky can't hear me
   "A wall?" She whispers back
   "Trust me, do you trust me?" My eyes start to fill
   "Yes" her eyes get teary aswell
   She puts her head to the glass and I do too, in the same spot
   "I love you darling" I whisper
   "I love you too mom" her lip quivers as a tear slides down her cheek
   She walks away, back to where Bucky is and we wait for Sage and my therapist to be done
   I sit on my bed while we wait, and they come out about 20 minutes later
   I stand up as the therapist walks to Bucky, then me
   "Sage has bipolar depression but not insanity" she unlocks sages collar and it drops to the ground
   A partial sense of relief flows over me, but Sadie still has to go
   She takes Sadie away and I immediately get anxious
   I start to pace around my cell and see Bucky walk up
   "Yn is she insane?" He asks desperately
   "I- I don't know" my hands shake as I look him in the eyes
   I see the worry in his eyes, afraid of what might happen if she is
   I shrink to the ground, my back against the glass
   Bucky slides to the ground as well, his back also against the glass
   "I know why you did it" he says softly, but I don't say anything back
   "You had a flashback didn't you?" He asks, I can tell his eyes are filled with tears
   "Mhm" I cant put together any words
   "Will you wear the bracelets?" He asks
   "Yes" I say, desperate to get out of the cell
   "Promise?" He sticks his pinky finger through one of the breathing holes
   I wrap my pinky around his, "I promise Buck", I know he trusts me, I've never given him a reason not to
   We sit there until Sadie and the therapist come back out
   The both of us stand up as soon as we see her and wait there as she walks over
   "Sadie doesn't have any mental illnesses" she leaves immediately after
   A wave of relief rushes over the both of us, I lean on the wall and take a deep breath
   Nat walks back in the room, "are you calm now?" She asks
   "Yeah, she's good, she'll keep the bracelets on" Bucky speaks for me
   "I promise nat" I try to sound as desperate as possible
   She stands and stares at me for a while, "I promise I'll keep them on nat" I say
   She walks into the control room and my cell door buzzes then opens
   I immediately fall into buckys arms, and into a hug
   "Don't make me regret this" she says but looks at Bucky and not me
   I have to keep myself under control for his sake, if I can't, then everyone will blame him
   He looks down at me, "don't worry Buck" I cup his cheeks
   Sadie runs over and hugs me, "do I still have to go?" She asks
   "No but I have to" I pull away from the hug and look at her beautiful eyes
Her eyes were different colors, one light blue like a soft blue sky, the other yellow and brown like an autumn forest
