Chapter 46

Wanda

   After the battle with Thanos, I couldn't grieve, I missed vision, and yn had her family back
   I was happy for her because when I was gone, so was everyone else
   She was without me, bucky, Sadie, and Sage for 5 years, and her own brother disowned her and when it was too late he couldn't even apologize
   Yn having her family back made her happier, but that also meant she didn't need me, until she slipped and Bucky couldn't control her
   Yn and I wouldn't have been friends forever anyways, she knew her fate and that I would be the one in the end
   I laid in my bed, just thinking about him, I wanted to see him
   He was in a lab, but I still wanted to see him, just one last time
   I drove to the lab and walked in, holding back tears
   I talked to the secretary, he let me in but I kinda let myself in
   They only let me look through the glass at him, he was dismembered, his head was apart from his body, his legs only holding on by cords
   "What are you doing to him" I ask and get defensive
"He's made of the rarest metal in the world Wanda, we can't just throw him away" the director tells me as if giving him a funeral would be throwing him away
I shatter the glass and float down to see him one more time
I walk over to him and put my hand over his forehead trying to feel him, a part of me still believes he'll come back
I don't feel him and a tear rolls down my cheek as it sets in
He's gone.
I got in my car and drove to the place he promised we'd go
He bought us a house a long time ago, it wasn't built yet, but he said we would build it together
I pulled in the driveway to the outline of where a home used to be
I pulled out the card with the houses blueprints on it, where vision drew a heart, and wrote a little note on the inside
'To grow old in, v.' is what he wrote in the heart that was drawn in the center of the house
Reading what he wrote brought me to tears, I fell to my knees
A big flow of energy exploded out of me as I built the house, vision started to appear infront of me
"Vis? Is that you?" I ask after the house is built and he is fully there
"From what I can see it is Me, yes" he says back and leaves me in shock for a moment
Happiness fills my body as he smiles at me, his smile is almost enough to make my heart burst
   I hugged him, and he hugged me, it was a feeling I craved, I needed his touch
I created a reality specifically to my liking without anything going against me
The only bad thing is I got a call on the house phone, it was yn,I didn't think she nor anyone could reach me here
"Wanda?" Yn's voice echoed through the phone
"Hi yn" I say back
"Where are you?" She asks
"Why" I don't want to tell her
"I have to tell you something and I can't say it over the phone" she sounds sad
"West view" is all I say before she hangs up
I assume she's coming here and I walk out of the reality
By the time I get out there, yn pulls up and runs into a hug
"What is wrong with you" she grabs my shoulders
"What are you talking about" I try to sound clueless
"You're a puppet master"
"They have a choice"
"Oh bull shit Wanda, I know they don't"
I get mad and throw her with my powers away from me
"You can't push me away!" She also gets mad, and trips me to the ground with her powers
I shoot three balls of energy at her, the first one hits her chest and she struggles to absorb it, the second she catches, and the third knocks her down
She lifts the ground around her and throws a few chunks of dirt at me, hitting me at least five times
"You can't overpower me Wanda" she's wrong and she knows it
"You don't actually think that" I remind her I am the only thing she fears
"Don't fuck with me Wanda" she warns
"Tell me yn, are you here because you think you need to be or do you think I'm not allowed to have my family too?"
I throw her again and when she hits the ground, she rolls twice and gets up
She starts to walk closer, balling up energy in her hands as she does
She hits me with as much energy as she can muster in the small amount of time it took to get to me
She hits me with more force than I anticipated, I hit the ground hard, exposing the dirt beneath the grass
"I can beat you today as well as any other" she conjures more energy
I stop, knowing she's trying to piss me off because she wants me to hate her when I kill her
"I know you want this" I say calmly
"Wanda-" she starts, but I cut her off
"I'm not gonna hate you, ever" I stand there and wait for her to hit me again
"It will hurt too much if you don't" the yellow disappears from her hands
"You told me to do it so I will when time comes, but I will never hate you yn" I take a few steps closer to her
"Tony is relying on you" she takes a few steps closer to me
"I'm relying on you" she whispers in my ear when I pull her into a hug
"This was never about west view, was it?" I ask, sitting in the hug
"I needed an excuse" she laughs before she flies away
