Chapter 6

Yn

   I wandered around the city, I decided to take my dog aswell
   As we were walking it started raining so I began to walk back, and I was suspicious that nothing was going wrong
    I put my headphones on so I could chill to music and walk in the rain until I started getting a call from Bucky
   "Hey what's up?" I ask
   "Just making sure you're okay, it's been like 45 minutes" he answers
   "Yeah I'm good, I was actually starting to head back"
   "Okay, see you soon"
   "Yup, love you!"
   "Love you too!"
   I hang up and continue walking back, I was unaware it had been so long
   My dog just stopped and sat down, she was tired so I picked her up and carried her the rest the way, she was a fairly small Doberman so it was easy
   I got home, let her run around then went to my room to find Bucky
   "Where's the dog?" Steve asks from the middle of the darkness
   "Jesus Steve, you could've just died" I respond
   He laughs, "sorry, Tony told me to come find you and Bucky said you were on a walk, so I waited for you"
   "Well where's Tony?"
   "His workshop" steve says then walks there with me but walks away when I walk in
   I walk over to find Tony and see him creating a new suit
   Before he notices I get as close as I can so I can scare him

   "Boo!" I yell
   "You are terrible at that"
   "Oh I know, aren't you trembling in your boots" I say sarcastically
   "I'm terrified" he gives back a sarcastic answer
   "So what did you want?"
   "We're going on a mission tomorrow and I want you to come"
   "Where and who?"
   "Me, Steve, nat, banner, Clint, Thor, and you?"
   "Yeah I'll go, why isn't Bucky?"
   "He is taking a training day"
   I walk to my room and start getting things ready for tomorrow before I hear an announcement over the loudspeakers
   "All avengers going to the mission tomorrow, meeting in the conference room in 10 minutes"
   I continue getting ready and I take my suit to one of Tony's fancy machines and it fixes the holes in it and cleans it
   After I set that out, I head to the conference room and see everyone there before sitting down
   Tony walks in last and starts the meeting, he explains everything that they will do and just tell me to be extra careful and kill anything that isn't us
   "Get your suits ready for tomorrow and get some sleep" Tony walks out, I follow but split away when we got to my room, where Bucky was laying in my bed
   He looked asleep so i cuddled up to him and covered us up
   "Yn?" He mumbles in a sleepy voice
   "Shhh, yeah it's me but it's bed time, you can go back to sleep"
   He cuddles closer to me and hugs me with his head on my chest
   "You okay?" I ask him
   "Mhm"
   I hug him tighter, "are you sure?"
   "I don't have a good feeling about you going tomorrow"
   I read his feelings by putting my hands on his cheeks, which is basically his mind but I feel what he feels, "you think I'll get hurt or taken"
   "Yeah" he sniffles
"Buck-" he cuts me off
"Yn- I can't lose you, not again"
"You remember that?"
"It's the only thing I remember"
I let out a few soft sobs quietly, he squeezes me tighter I and my heart skips a beat

Bucky

I can hear her heartbeat speed up with every squeeze, and I can hear her teardrops hit the pillow as they roll off her face
Eventually after maybe 30 minutes her arms fall limp and her heart rate finally calm slightly
I fall asleep not much after, I stayed in the same position but my hands under the back of her shirt, laying on the small of her back

In the morning she wakes up first, she wakes me up on accident when she slightly moves and gasps
I startle awake, "you okay?" I ask her
She laughs and looks at me, "I didn't know your hands were there until I moved and it tickled a little bit"
I smile and walk to the bathroom and by the time I come back out, she's already in her suit
"I'm off" she says and waits for me to give her a kiss
"Text me as soon as you're done" I ask her and give her a kiss
She walks out and I hope this isn't the last time I see her
Since everyone left I decided to clean and organize until everything was tidy, then I went downstairs to get some training in
I got tired and sore from my training so I walked upstairs and remembered yn had weed and she said I could have some if I was bored at home without her
I found a joint and a lighter and I walked outside to smoke it
I was chilling just smoking when I heard yn's dog scratch the door, I let her out and chilled there petting her
The dog cuddled right up to me, maybe because I smell like yn from sleeping in her bed with her
After a few hours I hear the jet land and everyone walk in
Everyone shows up without yn, my heart drops "where's yn?" I ask
"She's ..." Steve hesitates
Yn walks through the door not long after and it feels like a weight fell off my shoulders
"She's there" Steve finishes
Yn storms past me and into her room, her eyes still glowing a sunflower yellow
"Tony what happened?" I interrogate
"A small hiccup" he responds
Tony and Steve take me into a room and explain to me that there were kids with abilities like yn, Wanda and Pedro, Wanda had telepathy and telekinetic abilities like yn and Pedro had super speed
They also told me Wanda got the best of her and caused them to almost mess up the mission
"She sent yn into a vision of us dead" Steve mumbles
"So she's shaken up or mad about losing?" I ask
"Both" Tony answers
I walk back to yn to reassure her and try to calm her down
"She can kill me" yn whispers from under the covers
"You're immortal" I respond and lean against the door frame
"Not to her."
"How is that possible"
"Idk I just felt it, she has the power but not enough yet"
"We have to make sure she doesn't then" I crawl into bed with her and wrap myself around her
