Ara's POV
I didn't want him to leave but I was afraid I would pass out again. It wasn't easy acting like a strong woman in front of a werewolf. Who else is registering that? Having mystical ice powers is one thing, but watching your crush shift into an animal is another. It was insane and a lot to take in. It proved how deep and unrealistic my life was turning. Cyrus left and I finally felt relieved. I needed someone to talk to and as much as I hated it, my sisters were the only people I could talk to. Since my sisters were begging for my forgiveness, I knew this was the only chance I had to get them to listen. I needed to call a family crisis meeting for the Lee children. I need them now more than ever. The whole thing was too much for me to bear alone.
I sent them a text in our group chat.
"Lee children meeting at my place tomorrow, 3 pm. Whoever misses it will die by my hands and no outsider. I'm talking to you, sisters."
I dropped my phone and sighed. What a day.
Next_Day
The doorbell continuously rang and I knew who was responsible. If it wasn't Bevin, it was Kevin. Those two brats. I jogged over to the door and opened it. Bevin walked in blabbering about a serious problem followed by quiet Belda. We still hadn't been on talking terms since the boyfriend issue for obvious reasons. She knew I was right, the fool helped me claim victory by dating another girl just a week after the forced breakup, her friend for that matter. But like the quiet timid chicken she was, she was too scared to face me and admit her mistake.
I looked at Bevin who continued talking and walking away, and then at Belda for answers. "There is a serious problem that needs your ultimate silencing," she stated.
"Belda, how have you been?" I asked, shutting the door. She nodded with eyes filled with tears. She was going to cry. "How's the heartbreak? Still mending?"
"That demon started dating another girl five days after our breakup," she said with a shaky voice. Wow, I thought it was a week. He's worse than I thought.
"Belda, as your eldest sister who loves you with everything she's got, it is my duty to protect you and your siblings. I can't sit back and allow you to make a mistake that will ruin our family. I know I handled it a little bit too harshly but I don't regret it. He would have just hurt you even more."
"I know, and I'm sorry for overreacting and always proving how stupid and irresponsible I am. I don't know what's wrong with me. Every time I feel something for a guy, I let it change me." Trust me, Belda, I'm starting to see that it runs in our bloodline. Take your foolish older sisters for example. They tossed me aside for their husbands. I wanted to tell her that so badly but kept my mouth shut. Enjoying this small victory is the only thing worth it.
"You are softhearted, Belda, and that's why taking extra care of you and Iso is my priority. But still, I'm sorry I didn't reach out to you these past months. I have a lot going on right now and you know that this head can be empty when it comes to overloading thoughts." I apologized. She smiled sheepishly. Belda was my second favorite among the quad. She was like my slightly mature baby while Kevin was my completely foolish baby.
"I'm glad you forced me to dump him or dump him for me because I got to meet him again," him? What about him? Another him?
"Who?" I asked with a twitchy smile.
"Did we come here to watch you guys kiss?" Iso asked from the door. I looked towards Iso with the same twitching smile and she chuckled. "Hi, sis,"
