"Wynter, Wynter, wake up," I grumbled and waved my hand, silently telling the person to fuck off. "Wynter, darling, wake up," the voice was soft and sounded warm, like Mom. Wait, Mom!

I sprung up, almost headbutting the person hovering over me. Luckily, she moved on time. I blinked a couple of times before my eyes adjusted to the light and I could clearly see the face of the person. Mom. "It worked," I whispered with disbelief. "It really worked,"

Mom smiled and looked up and that was when I saw that Raquelia and Jena were there. Aunt Raquelia was wearing a white gothic-styled witch robe with a hood while Aunt Jena practically wore a sexy white Navy costume. The dress had a long front ring zip, long sleeve with attached appliqués, white sailor hat, choker, and gloves. I'm not going to ask why she… They are dressed like that.

"She's alright," Mom told them. They nodded. Raquelia bent over a little, placing her hands on her knees to support her weight. She looked down at me with a smile brighter than Mom.

"Good job, Krystal, you have closed the case of the ice queen."

I remembered that there was someone else important that was supposed to be struck by lightning. Thanks to my wings, we were safe from most of the blast. "Merlynn! Where's Merlynn?!" I asked, frantically looking around. I couldn't see him anywhere and we were no longer in the cave. Wait, are we flying?!

It was only then I realized we were on the back of a large fire phoenix. Aunt Jena's. "Don't worry, he's safe."

   "Where?"

"I sent him somewhere he could be treated. He'll be fine," I sighed with relief and hugged myself, returning my gaze to Mom. She was still smiling like the world was at peace. Her lips had turned blue again and her pale skin was once again vibrant. She looked as beautiful and as young as the day she died. Tears pooled up in my eyes as I stared at the woman who I took after. It felt surreal.

Mom spread out her hands and wrapped them around me. I found myself weeping once more, feeling that sense of peace inside me once again. "You did well, my darling. I'm so proud of you."

   "Dad misses you so much,"

"I'll be with him soon and this time, no one is going to separate us easily," I wrapped my hands around her stomach and cried into her arms. It took a long time but it was finally over. We were finally free.

Two Years Later

"Happy birthday, Lunaria!!!" The thunderous chant of people filled my ears. I scrunched my face with displeasure but still applaud along with everyone else. Luna laughed merrily, covering her mouth and jumping with excitement. Always so energetic.

"I'm gonna be a dad," Frost grumbled from beside me. Raf nudged him on the rib and he pushed her away gently. "Don't touch me." Faelly scoffed and rolled her eyes. It'd been two years since they got together, a year since they got married and she conceived him a child but Frost didn't take the news so well. He was overreacting.

"Will you stop acting like a child? You didn't complain when you were busy riding me like a horse almost twenty-four-seven. What did you expect? You didn't use condoms and you barely gave me time to take the damn pills. Why are you acting like this is my fault?" Oh no, they are going to fight and ruin Luna's birthday again. Mom made me promise to keep an eye on them. It was the only thing I could do to stop her from canceling her vacation with Dad.

Frost was very easy to convince but I didn't try because I wanted him to get over it himself. But at this rate, he'll piss Faelly off. All I did was cup his cheeks and finally said what I should have said from the beginning. "Picture this, mini Frost running around naked or cute little Rafaelias calling you daddy. Wouldn't that be nice?" I said sweetly. He thought about it for a second and then his eyes lit up like Christmas.
