Krystal's POV

I walked out of my bathroom singing what came to my mind as I thought of the two gorgeous boys I met in school. I appreciated Frost's existence but not Lynn's. I didn't like the guy and not just because he was my mate.

"…baby I'll be there when you call
No matter what I won't let you fall
You stole my heart and made me yours
You made me, me, and that fixed it all
    I'm no ordinary girl, I don't love
But you turn my heart into a heart curve…" Why the hell am I singing this?! My mind answered by displaying the name of my mate and that was a pretty harsh truth.

«Krystal, we should stay away from that guy,» Wynter said coldly.

«Why?» I asked pettishly.

«I loathe his existence.»

«But why? I don't hate him, he's cute.»

«He's bad news» She hissed and I scoffed. Does she think I'm stupid?

«Well, that bad news is my new friend.»

«You are kidding, right?» almost there.

«I've never been more serious in my entire life» I smirked.

«You will fall into a trap, we both will.»

«Why? Because he's better than us?»

«No, just don't get close!» She yelled. Just a little more.

«I can and I will and you can't stop me.»

«Krystal, you can't be his friend,» she screamed.

«Why? Because he is cute? Because I think I might like him?»

«Because he's our mate!» bingo!

«There, that wasn't so hard to say, was it?»

«Y…you knew?»

«Did you really think you could hide it away from me? Do I look like a walking brainless idiot to you? Why didn't you tell me?!»

«Because I don't want a mate.»

«Neither do I, especially him. I'll reject him tomorrow so chill and never hide anything from me again» she sighed with relief and kept quiet. Can I reject him though?

Lynn's POV

I dragged my feet to the dining room. His Royal Majesty sent for me and I couldn't refuse because he claimed it was important. Usually, I would reject either way, but I was kind and considerate enough to show him some respect for the sake of the other pack members. I normally eat in my room, away from him and his wife whose name I still couldn't remember. I didn't like breathing the same air as them, but I didn't have a choice.

The guards opened the door for me and I dragged my heavy feet in. "Can't you lift your feet off the floor?" Dad scowled. I ignored him, not having the strength to argue. Bitchy stared at me, chewing her food nervously. I called her that because I don't know her name. My sisters smiled at me and I winked at them, making them giggle.

"My princesses," I called smilingly, walking over to them. I kissed their cheeks one after the other as they giggled. They were my half-sisters but I loved them a lot because they had nothing to do with my father's infidelity and they hated our father as well.
