Krystal's POV
There are quite a lot of things I despise, things even too much for me to count. One of the things I spite the most is arrogant braggers. Yes, I'm arrogant, but I never bragged. Being powerful doesn't mean we have to brag about it or go looking for trouble when trouble is asleep, it's the only advice from Zadd I listened to. I might be a no-nonsense person, but I never went searching for a fight if I wasn't asked to, especially when I don't know the true capacity of the opponent's powers. Unfortunately, not many had the privilege of understanding this, and the asshat in front of me was one.
I never go looking for trouble doesn't mean I don't deal with trouble when it comes to me.
The boy reeked of silver and wolfsbane, as though he was the walking weakness of the supernatural. I remembered that Aunt Raquel told me about an experimental child in the school that I must eliminate. His wizard clan used a dark blood sacrifice spell to alter his abilities and turn him into the weakness of most supernaturals. His job was to infiltrate the school and gather as many allies as possible for the war they were preparing for. Aunt Raquel couldn't intervene as a vessel and it would cause chaos, so I was given the job to find a way to eliminate him. As an X-mark student, I could get away with it because when entering the school, all parents are told about my kind of student.
X-mark students are people with deadly and dark powers, people Aunt Raquel is trying to save and is almost lost to humanity. They are not allowed to kill unreasonably, but for good reasons, they can and they will be pardoned. You'll think that they will use it for their own good but Aunt Raquel assured me that the X-marks are powerful special people who work for her as I do, but are undercover. They only kill people they are sent to, just like I was about to do. They are not insane people, just a group of powerful people with a killer instinct that serves under her asshole of a first son.
In other words, the target is identified.
"Hello, new girl," the target said in a disgustingly flirtatious manner. He leaned closer to me, resting his weight on his hands which were on the table. I wasn't exactly looking at him, I had been staring at the doors where Frost ran out from. He looked devastated a few minutes ago. "Look at me when I'm talking to you," he snapped. Did he just…? I turned my head and rested my elbows on the table and massaged my temples. I needed him to provoke me until it became physical before I would have the right to kill him. Ending someone with such a condition had never been done before. "The name's Ronny Jones, the hottest guy around," everyone sniggered. This boy doesn't have a mirror at home. "No girl can come into this school without passing my bed test," and foolishly bold.
"And most girls complain after visiting your bed that you smell and you suck in bed. I'll advise you to start buying energy-boosting pills, your stamina needs it." Aida said irritably.
"Stay out of this, Aida. We had an agreement, you don't interfere in my shit and I stay out of yours." The agreement I was informed on. Due to his silver abilities, he was a threat to most of the students except a few like Aida and Rafaelia, so they were tricked into signing a magic pact. Aunt Raquel said they didn't know the pact was a trick to keep them out of Ronny's way. Thanks to the pact, if they try to engage in a battle with him, there'll be a backlash.
"She's my friend so it's my shit and agreement can be altered," she said with a devious smirk, eye color changing to autumn. "Don't dare me, Ron, you are not immune to my powers and right now I am pissed. So unless you want me to hurt you badly, scram." She threatened but he smirked, already knowing the advantage he had over them. Aida clicked her tongue with annoyance and rose from the table, ready to break the agreement and cause herself harm. Her mate, Darrell jumped to his feet and held her back, pulling her into his embrace as he growled at Ron.
