Frost's POV
I drove my car into the school premises as Raf busied herself with music. I parked at my specially reserved spot and alighted the car. I flew my collar and smirked as the scream began, I was a celebrity in school. Why are girls so stupid? They don't know how to control themselves. Anyway, it makes fucking easier. The scream increased and I knew only two people other than me who could do that. I turned and waved at my brother from another mother, Merlynn.
Don't ever call him that, he hates his name.
Lynn—as he insists we call him—is the only son to the Alpha of the strongest and richest pack in the world, Imperial Moon Pride Pack. His dad is a cocky bastard, an arrogant asshole who won't mingle with anyone because he believes no pack is better than his. Not only him, his previous generations too. They literally put the pride in the Moon Pride pack. But Merlynn was different. He was kind and caring, and still had his pride but not as advanced as his father. Thanks to him, many alphas have been able to ally with his father, and the Imperial pack was mingling properly. It all started with Aunt Raquelia and Lynn finishing the job.
I loved him because we shared a lot of things in common:
1. Our different unusual wolf traits. Lynn has golden hair and when I say gold, I mean pure gold. His eyes were green, an enchanting green with gold dust scattered in the green orbs that made people think of an enchanted forest. Just like me, he was awfully strong, even more than his father. I had silver hair and eyes as you know too. So it was fate indeed. I call him Goldilocks most of the time and he punches me all the time or calls me Silvia.
2. We are both goddamn handsome. (I'll admit he's more handsome and well-gifted with brawns and sexiness but we never compare ourselves. That was part of the law to govern our friendship. Never compare each other or let others compare you.)
3. We were both promiscuous idiots but he was the worst. Lynn couldn't stay a day without sex but I could. Plus, I cared about people's feelings to an extent but he doesn't. As long as he gets the girl or boy he wants in his bed, nothing else matters.
4. We both behaved like loquacious children… Well, he's more mature-minded than me since his childish brain activates once in a while but mine is 24/7.
5. We are both intelligent but I surpass him. He was smarter than I was, no doubt about that, but when it came to education, he was a total blockhead.
6. Our powers were different. We don't know who's stronger among us because we always end up in a tie. Today I beat him up and tomorrow he beat me so… honestly, I knew he could fight better if he tried. But he never took anything seriously, just like me.
7. We both lost our moms on the same day but in different locations.
8. Our birthday was the same even if he was a year older.
The other difference between us was I had more conscience than him. I loved everyone and respected them but he was raised with a man he hated. As I mentioned earlier, Lynn and I met at my mother's funeral. Well, not specifically her funeral but on the day of both our mothers' funerals. We ran away from home to get away from the pain and somehow ended up meeting each other and spilling our guts out. Lynn blamed his father for his mother's death, so he absolutely detested the man more than he despised love. There are nine people he loves and cares about: his late mother, me, his little half-sisters, his pack, sex (he calls sex a woman,) himself, himself, himself, and himself.
The next person was Ayden, Raf's older brother. He was a nice guy who rarely got angry or annoyed unlike his older twin, Aaron. That guy gives me goosebumps. Ayden wasn't flirty, just an annoying blonde dude who has a strong crush on his cousin, Aida. He's an idiot. Ayden was also pretty dense and didn't understand signals or emotions that well. He was more clueless than a sack of nails.
