Krystal's POV
"Hear ye! Hear ye! Behold the sight of the royal family, King Spencer Alexander the nineteenth, Queen Isabelle, Prince Nicolas the fourth, Princess Rose, and our national treasure, The Glorious Princess Hazelle in all her splendor. Bow to the glorious Majesties!" Someone announced. Everyone except us bowed.
«I was right,»
"They look like snubs," Aida whispered. The trumpets blew and the people began to sing a weird anthem as the royal sheep walked to us. "Is it me or does this world seem ridiculous?"
"I think the prince is hot," Faelly blurted out, then gasped and looked around to make sure Frost didn't hear that. "Will it be bad if I say I want to have him so bad?" She whispered again.
"Your mate fucked around for a year, I don't see why you can't admire things you consider beautiful. Although I'll say your standard is reducing more than usual," Lenius said exactly what I wanted to say. The corner of my lips twitched into a smile. He was picking my interest every second.
The royal family stood in front of us and waited, expecting us to bow. The other girls did but Lenius, Luna, Faelly, and Aida didn't, and I certainly didn't. "Welcome, girls, to the kingdom of Paceladopia," the king greeted pompously. "You are honored to be here," he said, eyeing our druid clothing. "Is this the cheap clothing your world wears? I expected better."
"What we wear might seem inappropriate to your species, so out of consideration, we cover ourselves," Aida responded in a heartbeat. Everything is going as planned. "But since you don't mind, Your Majesty, we'll return to our comfort zone. Ladies, if you'll please?" I am not doing this with them.
Lenius face-palmed and I threw my head back, groaning as they discarded their cloaks to expose their extreme wear. Not that I was one to talk. I had something similar under my cloak because of a certain someone who still hasn't been freed from the jet. "Aida," Lenius growled, but she dismissed him with a wink to the prince, striking a pose. Surprisingly, Aida wasn't dressed like a club whore. She wore something decent but sexy. Hers was more decent than mine.
The expression on their faces was what Aida was searching for. Enthusiastic screams broke out among the girls. What? Aida tapped me. I turned around to what she was pointing at and my jaw almost dropped, keyword being almost. The other guys were not my concern, they looked a lot like trash to me, all except him. He was shirtless, running after Frost who was waving his shirt in the air. It was the first time I was seeing him shirtless and the first time I wanted to bury my face in a man's—other than my granddad's—chest. I always imagined what his body would look like without layers of fabric covering him up, but this wasn't how I wanted to see him. I felt like crying because I planned to explore that body to my heart's content, but we were in public.
I tapped my foot angrily, sinking my teeth into my lip. He just had to show his body when he hadn't shown it to me. No, Frost did, he caused this. Aida leaned into me and sighed dreamily.
"I know Darrell is mine but babe, can I borrow Lynn for a night?" Aida whispered. Wynter let out a warning growl but I swallowed it and glared at her. She chuckled. "Possessive now, are we?"
Lenius scoffed and turned his face away. "Give me that," Lynn said annoyedly as he snatched his shirt back from Frost. "What is your problem?" He hissed searching for the opening of his shirt.
"I'm sick," Frost winked at him. I grabbed a hold of Frost's ear and dragged it. He screamed in pain and reached out for Faelly, asking for help. The king cleared his throat, reminding us that he was there. I huffed as I stared at the ladies ogling my mate. I tried not to kill all the girls mentally sleeping with my mate, including the pink princess. The other one was more interested in Frost. Faelly didn't seem too bothered since she was now busy gawking at a plant.
