Krystal's POV

Two hours and forty-five minutes left. I still have time.

"She's really pretty," the little cute one said with awe, feeling my cheeks with her small palms. Out of all of Merlynn's sisters, she was the smallest. Her growth was slow and she was physically weaker than the other, also less intelligent, but she was damn cute. She acted her age, but she was not annoying.

It'd been a few hours since I exposed myself. The meeting didn't end well as the princess tried to attack me. One of the envoys held her down and warned her to calm down. Eventually, we ended up in Merlynn's father's office where the princess's father was contacted. Upon learning who I was and confirming my identity, he immediately apologized and begged me to spare his people so I agreed on the terms that every trace of him disappear from the pack. He agreed and the princess and her escorts were immediately ordered to prepare to move out.

While they packed, Merlynn, who was still pretty pissed at me, left. I don't know where he went, but I knew he was around and needed space. Then his sisters came to me and introduced themselves to me. The one who cursed at me earlier came to me first. Turns out she's the second eldest. They weren't identical quadruplets, just similar looking.

The eldest, Eva, had a stronger similarity to Ella, the second. She had had brown hair and blue eyes, only hers was a darker shade of brown. The third was Emma, a vibrant and sassy girl with dark brown hair and green eyes. Her skin was noticeably lighter than the others, almost as light as her mother's. She was also the prettiest among them and had more alpha aura as well. The last was May, the sweetheart touching my cheeks. She was the only blond among them, inheriting that from her mother and taking her father's green eyes. She wasn't prettier than Emma, but she was cuter than them all.

The girls kidnapped me to their very interesting room—I'm being sarcastic because the room was pink and everything disgusting—and turned me into their admired figure. I guess my bad first impression was cleared because Ella was deeply taken by the fact that I can control winter and know the other guardians. Apparently, they had never met Faelly or the others.

Ella kept bombarding me with questions about how the magic works, Emma kept throwing questions about what I like about her brother and how much I know about him, Eva was simply interested in my hair and May was fascinated by my beauty and resemblance with Frost. It was overwhelming but I had to endure it. The only one among them I didn't mind was May, the others were just tolerable for now. But let's make sure Lynn never finds out about that.

"It's like looking at a female clone of Frost,"

"We are not that alike," I said with a small laugh.

"Frost has always looked too much like a woman, so yes, you are way too alike," Ella chipped in.

"How is it possible for Merlynn to kiss you? Doesn't he feel weird about it?" Emma questioned curiously.

"That's even more reason why he would kiss her," Ella giggled. It seems like she's the only one who knows about Merlynn's misplaced love for Frost. "And now I know you two are twins, it's starting to make sense," I changed my mind, I like this one too.

"You have to admit, brother is lucky. He got mated to the witch of winter!" Eva squealed. "And she's so pretty!" Uh-huh, that's nice. The girls giggled among themselves.

"So when will you move in?" I almost choked on my saliva. Move in? With Merlynn? Hell no! "Hmm, it seems she hasn't thought about that yet," Emma said to her sisters.
