The plan is simple, (y/n). Dezuki is going to leave a clone of you back at Todoroki's house, so no one knows you're missing. We only have a few hours to spare because we can't be sure if his cloning quirk will still be intact by then. Overhaul will negotiate on making Deku more powerful if he pledges loyalty to him. Remember, these people are in the Yakuza. It's crucial that you must stay calm. No matter what they say, you cannot break character. Just keep trying to go along with Dezuki. I know this is a lot but trust me, I will handle whatever happens. I promise.

I could feel myself picking at my skirt while waiting beside Dezuki. He was being quiet for once...and it scares me. I've seen him always display his anger, his violent tendencies. He was always predictable, at least I knew something was going to happen. But now, I don't even know. There are no thoughts that I've heard from him, and he hasn't said a word to me since yesterday. He's just having a gentle hold on my hand and won't let go. We were waiting behind an old, discreet house that was well off the busy streets. I had no clue who we were excepting but I just leaned my back to the wall, having my free hand fidget with the fabric of my skirt. I looked in the corner of my eye, feeling more uneasy. Deku's eyes were glued to the ground, the lights in his eyes were still gone and there wasn't an inch of any sort of expression on his face. Can he even hear what I'm thinking and feeling?

"Are you here for Overhaul?" A man's voice suddenly asked, making me flinch in a bit of shock. Deku, on the other hand, didn't physically react like how I did. He slowly turned his head to the man, nodded and tugged on my hand to follow him. The man guided us behind a few more buildings that led us back to a normal looking house. The man walked up to the door, knocking in a specific pattern before another man with  a strange mask opened the door. The man who guided us stepped to the side to allow us through, having Deku lead the way inside. An eerie aura went through my body when we stepped inside the house that made me want to run.

"Go down that hallway and the first door to your left is the living room. Overhaul will be there." The Yakuza member with the strange mask instructed us. I kept my eyes forwards and swallowed my saliva to keep my composure. 'Be calm no matter what,' I recited in my head, stepping closer to the door. With his free hand, Deku opened the door to our left, seeing Overhaul and one of his men standing beside him. Deku and I made eye contact with Overhaul and he motioned up his hand to invite us in.

"Come and sit down. Let's talk." Overhaul welcomed us. I looked over at Deku, seeing his gaze sharpen as he continued to lead me. There was another couch across from Overhaul that I took a seat in, but Deku didn't sit next to me. Instead, he...sat on the ground next to my legs. He brought his legs up to his chest and leaned his head a bit to the side that it was grazing my knees. He's never done this before- showing himself as smaller to an enemy, not meeting eye to eye, and not saying anything snarky.

"What are you doing? Get up here-" I tried to reach over to touch his shoulder, but he quickly smacked my hand away and gave me a cold glare. I froze in disbelief for a moment before I retreated my hand back to my lap, soothing the small pain on my hand. Overhauls eyes looked between us before he pointed to the man next to him.

"This is one of my trusted men, Shin. He'll ask you a few questions in a moment when I'm done." Overhaul started to talk as he looked at me up and down.

"You probably have no idea what you're doing here but you are a key witness for Deku's transformation. Seeing as you two look like you're working together in some messed up way." The villain observed. I bit my tongue a little as I kept my eyes forward to Overhaul. I couldn't let my feelings show in front

"It's Dezuki." Deku mentioned but his tone was calm. The man nodded his head and crossed his arms.

"Well, Dezuki, I thought you would have something snarky to say by now. Are you that eager to get this operation done or do you have ulterior motives?" Overhaul implied but Dezuki was silent.
