𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙏𝙤 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙨

I tapped the end of my pencil against my study book, turning my attention to Aizawa as he cleared his throat. The class went quiet quickly. I sometimes forget how intimidating Aizawa can be for others...but not me.

"So, I'm sure you all have heard the rumors about summer break, correct?" Aizawa assumed with his eyebrow raised. I looked in the corner of my eye, seeing as everyone pretty much nodded their head. My bored eyes went back to my teacher, seeing as he sighed in irritation at everyone's answer.

"Well, we'll be going to summer camp sooner than I thought. We'll be leaving in three days. We are far behind in our studies and going to this summer camp will give us the opportunity to at least make up for our lack of progress. Understood?" Aizawa informs us, having everyone agree. As soon as he was done talking, the bell rang, signaling all of us to head to lunch. My classmates immediately got up from their seats but not me. I saw Mina and Jirou approach me at my desk, looking down at me.

"Can you believe it, (y/n)? The summer camp thing was actually true! I'm so excited!" Mina beamed, pumping her fist in the air with enthusiasm. Jirou smiled at Mina's energy and turned her attention to me.

"Are you planning on going with us?" Jirou asked, making me nod my head.

"I mean, I am in this class...and Aizawa told me that he sees no reason for me not to participate so..." I trailed off, seeing as I saw Uraraka standing behind Mina. Mina and Jirou noticed, stepping aside so she could speak to me. I felt myself bite the inside of my cheek.

"Hey (y/n), Tsu, Momo and I were going to meet up after school and do some shopping. Would you and Eri like to come with?" Uraraka offered me, making me less tense in my body. I let out a sigh before I nodded. Just this once...I wanna have fun outside of school...

"Sure, I wouldn't mind." I replied, seeing her softly smile at me.

"Great! Meet us four blocks down where the noodle shop is from the school. See you then!" She informed me, merely making me nod my head to her as she walked away. Mina and Jirou smiled down at me, turning their bodies away from me as they waved bye to me.

"We'll be heading off to lunch. You're free to join us!" Mina blurted as her and Jirou walked out of the classroom, leaving me alone with my books and empty mind.

When school ended, I picked up Eri and walked to the destination where Uraraka told us. The sun was setting, making the aura around the town have an orange and a slight pink tint. I walked hand in hand with Eri, walking down the four blocks and arriving at the noodle shop Uraraka told me about. This place wasn't that far of a walk from my house so in case they decided to cancel, I wouldn't have much of a hassle getting home. I waited with Eri for a few moments in front of the shop, before I called Uraraka's number. It rang...then it went to voicemail. I tried to call her again, but it went to voicemail. As I let out an irritated sigh from her unreturned call, I saw a message from her.

'Sorry for the wait! Got caught up with Mr. Aizawa. Tsu and Momo will be there shortly.', Uraraka's texts said, making me settle down my nerves a bit. Eri looked up at me, tugging at the end of my sleeve. I looked down at her, raising an eyebrow at her.

"How long do we have to wait? I'm getting tired..." Eri mumbled as she rubbed her eyes, letting out a small yawn. I crouched down to her level, rubbing her shoulders a bit.

"If we wait longer and if you're really tired, we can cancel going shopping for today so you can sleep. Our house isn't far from here but if you get too tired, I can carry you, okay?" I reassured Eri, seeing the corners of her lips tug up into a small smile. I hummed softly, standing back up as I scanned my surroundings. In the corner of my eye, I saw someone running at full speed down the street. As he got closer, I could see pure panic on the person's face as his eyes darted toward all the buildings around him.
