'What am I to you,' is a sentence that keeps repeating in (y/n)'s head. This note that Midoriya left her was the only thing on her mind. Truth is, it brought up a lot of conflicting feelings. Repressed feelings, anyways. There has been too many events going on to properly allow (y/n) to think about her own feelings. Let alone on how to express them.

"Is something wrong?" Eri's voice made (y/n) snap out of her trance, crumbling the scarp of paper into her palm.

"Yeah, I'm fine Eri. Thanks for asking." (Y/n) smiled down at the child as she hid the note back in her backpack. Eri continued to eat her lunch next to (y/n), while the teen looked through her schoolbooks to pass the time. But in the corner of her eye, she saw someone approaching her. She looked up, feeling disappointed on who it was in front of her. Shoto stood at the edge of their table. But there were more people that walked behind Shoto. There was also Uraraka, Tsu, Momo and Monoma.

"Hey, we were wondering if you have the time to talk." Shoto was the first to speak. (Y/n)'s brow raised in suspicion.

"This feels more like a confrontation than to make peace." (Y/n) replied coldly, leaning back in her seat with crossed arms.

"Look, we just want to talk things out with you rather than continue this hostility between us." Monoma butted in, hoping it would convince (y/n). There was silence and Eri was just looking between the group of people. After a moment, (y/n) sighed and got up from her lunch table.

"Eri, stay here. I'll be back." (Y/n) instructed Eri, having the child nod in response. The group of students made their way to the hallways; the voices of all the other school students faded in the distance for now. (Y/n) stood in front of the group, still not bothering to speak just yet. But Monoma walked up front.

"To start things off, I was in the wrong for what I planned. In all honesty, ever since the day I took part in rescuing you, I've been terrified for my life about hero training and having you involved in anything. Especially now that...you know who has escaped. I wanted my friend back more than anything and I was scared that the cycle would continue if the pros got involved. What would've happened to you wasn't in my thinking since I acted on emotion. I'm so sorry," the boy bows, "I know I won't be forgiven with everything you've been through, you don't owe me forgiveness because I knew." Monoma finished his apology. That's when Shoto stepped forward too.

"And I'm terribly sorry as well. I am to blame as well since I did not warn you or say anything in general while I had the chance." Shoto added as well, bowing his head with his said apology. Momo, Uraraka, and Tsu bowed as well.

"We're so sorry. We were scared of getting in trouble with the pros and reacted to our own feelings." Uraraka explained. (Y/n) watched as her classmates bowed in front of her...not phased by their apologies. Their apologies couldn't even soften her expression. Her gaze was sharp and still seemed cold. After all, it was one thing to endanger herself. But it's another to endanger a child, knowing well that she is always involved with (y/n).

"I don't know if I have it in my heart to forgive you guys." (Y/n) replied, making the group of students snap their heads up in disbelief. (Y/n) held onto one of her arms for some sort of comfort, feeling guilt creep into her heart. It started to make her feel bad about not forgiving them on command. But then again, they lied to her and even hid what they were going to do from her. If Izuku wouldn't have shown up...her and Eri would've been dead. (Y/n) started to turn away from Shoto and the rest, trying to go back to the cafeteria.

"(Y/n), we know that you're angry, but you can't keep avoiding us like this," Uraraka suddenly spoke up, "you've been...different lately." (Y/n) stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder, glaring at Uraraka in her attempt to call her out. But it seemed Uraraka wasn't going to back down.
