It took about two hours for the police and heroes nearby to fully secure the area in (y/n)'s neighborhood. Each of the villains that were trying to riot were in custody and were sent to the police station one by one. Tsukauchi arrived at (y/n)'s house where everyone was taking refuge, having a sense of hope when they saw him at the door. Tsukauchi first spoke to Monoma since he was in need of assistance and help with the situation with Kendo. The officers' squad safely sent everyone home one by one until now it was just Shun and Tsukauchi in the house. Tsukauchi looked around for a moment before he turned to Shun with a raised brow.
"Where's (y/n) and Eri? Are they in the house?" He asked the doctor. Shun looked down to the floor with a dreaded face, walking towards the room of the girl. Tsukauchi followed behind him, wondering as to why he was in fear.
"She's been like this for the past two hours and I have no clue why she isn't responding. Look." Shun said as he opened the door to reveal (y/n) sitting on the edge of her bed, headphones over her ears with her eyes shut. She didn't move a muscle and neither did Eri. The officer quietly walked towards (y/n), keeling in front of her. He waved his hand in front of her face, calling her name. Eri merely looked at the officer's attempt in silence, not wanting to encourage his actions. Tsukauchi looked back to Shun but he shrugged his shoulders from (y/n) being unresponsive as if he knew something. Tsukauchi took a short breath before he gently tapped (y/n)'s shoulder.
"(Y/n)?" Tsukauchi tried to grab her attention but he still received nothing. His eyes looked to Eri and tilted his head to her.
"Do you know what's wrong with (y/n)?" He politely asked. Eri lowered her head more to her legs to hide her face.
"She's concentrating. Please don't wake her up or she might be scared." The child warned, having Tsukauchi sigh, getting up and walking towards the door. Shun looked at Tsukauchi with uncertainty and he looked between (y/n) and him. But the officer placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I'll give her mother a call about the situation. Just keep an eye on her until her mother comes home. As long as she's safe, we shouldn't be worried. I have to investigate the kidnapping of that U.A student." Tsukauchi addressed, walking past Shun and exiting out of the house. The raven-haired man stared at (y/n) in some remorse, like he was the cause of the state that she was in. Deep down, he felt weak as he knew his efforts weren't as efficient as he hoped for it to be. He ran his hand through his hair along with letting out a sigh, closing the door. As the door was closed, Eri looked up to (y/n)'s body. She lifted herself up from the floor and grabbed the sleeve of her sweater, softly tugging it. Slowly, (y/n) opened her eyes and trailed her gaze to look at Eri. The child's body froze for a moment as (y/n) lifted the headphones off her head, placing them next to her. (Y/n)'s gaze softened when she looked into Eri's eyes and she extended her hand out to her.
"Could you sit next to me?" (Y/n) asked. Eri jumped on the bed, placing herself next to the (h/c) girl. The teen wrapped her arms around Eri, bringing her close to her chest like she was shielding her from the outside world.
"Eri, you know that bad things happen, right?" Eri nodded. She knew that all too well.
"I have a feeling that things will happen to me very soon. Bad things. If anything does happen to me, trust no one. Absolutely no one other than me, do you understand?" (Y/n) whispered. Eri nodded again.
"If I'm no longer in this world or our mother or father, Aizawa will take care of you. Understand?" (Y/n) added on. Eri nodded her head once more. The child was terrified of the idea of her only savior leaving her behind in the world, the only person that was willing to put her life on the line for her safety and the one she cared and loved for. But she understood that she couldn't do much to help unless it was within her grasp. The reason why she knew this, why (y/n) was warning her of these things was because of the sound of her intense heartbeat that pounded in (y/n)'s chest and the trembling of her hands around Eri's body. (Y/n) is just as terrified as her but she's willing to hide that fear by taking action by herself. But there was another thing that (y/n) was terrified that no one else was able to know or hear.
