After that man left her in despair

All lies claiming 'she was okay' on the outside
It was a lie when he said,

As he covered his tattoo from which
Lies the name of his past lover
He was the same man who cried for one woman
The same man who thought of future and forever
A man who pretends 'it was just nothing'
When in fact she was once his everything
It was a lie when I said it didn't hurt
And that I could get over it just then and there
It was all a lie and the scar was there to prove it
And you would only believe
Once the scar was finally unveiled
