You lied

You lied in front of a thousand stars
Even using the gleam of the moon
To picture your face
while you spout all these sickening lies

You lied

You said you shone as I exist
that my light connects to yours
but that wasn't the truth that I see
As you sparked all of joys, ventures and warmth
and shove to my face of the coldness that I bought

You lied

when you said that "In of all the stars, I shine the brightest"
that even in the darkest of nights, my beauty never fades
You lied when you swore to all the planets
that I was the only Luna of all your sonnets

You lied

when you promised eclipse
of the moon and sun
But you roughly gave what it takes
to continue what we had

We never met as you left me mid-air
the stars are my witness, the seas and the forests
the universe and the nova
even the blasting comets

And I believed
because of your warmth that I have never felt with anyone
I foolishly believed
because of the light I was shined upon

I blindly believed, like a deprived fool
who longed for joy and love
I believed all those lies
because I thought "finally I had someone"

And all those verses and poems
all those chapters and prose
were nothing but all creatively written notes
by one of the brightest writers and poets

Your fires made forests burned
Your heat caused the waters to boil
Your existence bought death to most
and your light you used to blind us all

Are you proud of your trophies, Sol?

Writer's note:
It was an arson disguised as warmth
