I smile at myself in front of the mirror
To practice the way i look for people ill meet tomorrow
Outfits that could fit the latest trends
To train myself to be someone, I must blend

I cover up what may seem a flaw
Hide all marks, bruises, the public may see raw
Draw that same face that is accepted although
I knew that no matter what i do, it will always be zero

To close my eyes to the cruelties of the world
Injustices, discrimination, exploitation
All the things made for us to act like robots
Changing what we really are to adjust in this nation

Just like a puppet being controlled
All its limbs do not act on its own
Being handled by the one on above
Full of restriction and it's always
The people you don't know who got the decision

Society's puppet
A rehearsed poem
Beautifully rhymed words
With meanings hidden

One small mistake
And my blow will be taken
Revelation of their wrongs
Is a sin that's never forgiven

As I write these phrase
And construct these sonnets
Comes a price of my own life
With my blood and flesh all written

Cause if they knew I told the lies
And they finally learned to read between the lines
It will be my end, my death, my last breath
Because I pronounced a sinful poem, with a smile on my face
