>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<Siddharth tried to distract himself by practicing all the time. He couldn't console his mother so easily this time. He didn't even have the heart to leave her angry at home and fly to his race. He just couldn't find a way to persuade her at all.
However, although what he said was hurtful, bitter and hard to accept, Siddharth thinks he was right. His mother, like most typical middle class women from her era gave up her studies and got married as per her parents wish and what happened?
That man abandoned her and his teenage son for some other woman. She had no one to turn to because her parents have passed away by then.
She struggled years to give himself proper education, shelter and food by working in a textile shop with overtimes because she didn't get at least a proper certificate to be qualified for a much higher level job.
All this because she dropped out of her studies halfway to get married, if Vasundhara had objected her parents for her own will she wouldn't have had to survive that abusive failed marriage for years.
According to him, marriage is just a path to destruction of one's own life and Siddharth just couldn't understand why would she want himself to do something like that.
Especially not with Neha.
The day they talked at the café, Siddharth saw the hope in Neha's eyes when she said she was waiting to marry someone who will make her feel secured and he didn't want to be the one who breaks that hope.
He likes to see her smile, the small creases that appears on the corner of her eyes when she does so, gosh he loves it. Hence he has no heart together be the reason for it to disappear one day, he would rather stay away if that's the best decision.
Even so what Siddharth didn't knew is that Neha has started losing the first day she didn't receive his good morning sticker itself.
>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<
The nonstop conferences were exhausting her. Neha falls on the bed as soon as coming out of a much needed warm bath.
She let out an exhausted sigh into the pillow before stretching her hand out to grab her mobile. After talking to Joseph, Neha turns over and switches on the television.
Since it was still early evening she decides to watch something before ordering dinner. The first thing that appears in the screen makes her suck in her own breath.
A prediction debate going on for the upcoming race about who would win, with Siddharth and some other guy's pictures shown.
Neha just stares at his face, as much as she can until the next time. She comes to her senses only after it goes. Neha snaps herself and sits up.
What is wrong with her?
She has been acting weird since that day. No matter how much she tries to convince herself that this isn't about that day, deep down she seems to know it all along.
She just couldn't know why?
No theories or diagnosis could explain this and she felt so lost and irritated.
