Neha sighed softly, finding it hard to fall asleep. She turned around in bed and slowly pulled the bolster down, revealing Siddharth sleeping on his stomach with his hands tucked beneath the pillow. She smiled as she brought her fingers to brush it through his hair.

As Neha lay there in the quiet of the night, she couldn't help but wonder what other things she doesn't know about him. The revelation of his scar had made her realize that there were aspects of his life she was completely unaware of. It dawned on her that despite being married, they still had so much to learn about each other.

Feeling her attempt to retract her hand when he stirred, Siddharth's fingers tightened around Neha's, preventing her from pulling away. Neha's frown deepened her gaze narrowing as she realized something.

Eyh

Siddharth's grin widened as Neha successfully retrieved her hand from his grasp. He opened his one eye. Neha rolled her eyes in response, a mixture of irritation and amusement flickering across her features.

Nalla dhane poitu irundhuchu?

( It was going good now, wasn't?)

Siddharth asked with a pout,

Adhellam onnu illa, na un mela innum kovama iruken

( No, I'm even more angry at you now.)

Yen?

( Why?)

Nee en kitta onnu illa, rendu poi sollirka anniki

( You've not lied once but twice that day)

Neha narrowed her eyes at him, feigning annoyance as she turned around to the other side. But before she could settle, the bolster between them went flying, causing Neha to laugh softly. As Siddharth moved closer, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder, Neha couldn't help but lean into his embrace, feeling a sense of comfort wash over her.

Sorry?

No

Vera yenna seiyanum?

( What else should I do then?)

He asked helplessly, noticing that Neha's responses to his apologies never seemed quite satisfied, no matter the situation. It was always a "fine" or "okay," or sometimes just a straightforward "no" in response to his apologies.

Nee yen poi sonnae'nu sollu, na yosikiren

( Tell me why you lied, then I'll think about it.)

Siddharth raised his head in surprise at his wife, wearing a big grin as he pondered for a second before answering,

Adhu.. na anniki romba deep concentration oda romance pannitu irundhena, adhan solla thonala

( It's because......I, we were very concentrated in our romance so I just didn't feel like telling the truth)

Neha looked over her shoulder and glared at him with a poker face. Siddharth chuckled sheepishly as she turned back.

Periya veera thalumbu, indha kadhaiya summa summa vera solluvangala? Anniki yedho thonala, solala

( As if it's some kind of a war mark for me to always talk about it, I didn't feel like saying it, so I didn't.)
