Joseph and Vasundhara exchanged puzzled glances as they watched their children's behavior during the video call. Siddharth and Neha were bantering, teasing, and playfully mocking each other in a way they rarely did before. Normally reserved and quiet around their parents, this sudden shift left Vasundhara feeling like she might actually have a heart attack from the shock.

Joseph couldn't help but feel nostalgic as he watched Neha during the call. Seeing her engage in playful arguments with Siddharth reminded him of a younger version of his daughter, full of spirited defiance and a stubborn determination to make her point. As for Siddharth, Vasundhara couldn't believe her son was actually giving in to the arguments. Normally, Siddharth would fight tooth and nail to win, but now he seemed more willing to let Neha have her way. It was a role reversal that left the parents pleasantly surprised yet slightly bewildered.

This was a real couple.

Yendha video call pannitu, neengale pesitu irundha aprom naanga yedhuku da?

Chitti asked, coming in between to squeeze himself beside Vasundhara.

Ama, nee yenna da? Ivlo free ya utkandhurukae?

Na yenga utkandhen, sila per utkara vechitanga!

Siddharth sulked to which Neha glared at him before she explained,

Pinna yenna? Normal'ah road la nadhandhu pogumbodhu pakathula nadhandhu varadhu purushan'ah, illa kolagaran'ahnu kudha theriya matudhu!

She spoke with a playful glint in her eyes as she teasingly glared at him, while Siddharth couldn't help but pout back at her in mock offense. They were seated in a cozy restaurant down the street, opting for a meal out since neither felt like cooking that day. However, Neha had cleverly hidden Siddharth's mask and cap, items she discovered in his suitcase.

Yet, this discovery sparked another worry in Neha's mind—why hadn't he unpacked yet? Was he planning to leave soon, or worse, were they leaving? Thankfully, Neha managed to push aside these anxious thoughts for the time being.

Seri vidhen da, ava dhan solrala?

Vasundhara advised Siddharth, who pouted even more,

Ma! Puriyama pesada ma! Enna yaarum paathuta aprom aal aaluku camera'va thookitu vandhuruvanga! Na yenna venumna solren?

Adhukudhan already ipdhi aale illada restaurant vandhu utkandhurukome?

Neha said, relieved that the cashier didn't understand the language they were speaking in. Just then, her phone rang, and she excused herself, stepping outside to take the call while asking Siddharth to keep the conversation going.
