The Reasons
>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<A dark cloud settles, heavy with grief,
Two tiny hearts lost, their time too brief.
Dreams of life, now shadows in the storm,
Empty arms where warmth once formed.
Raindrops of sorrow, a flood of tears,
Silenced cries, echoes of their fears.
Beneath the dark cloud, they mourn their loss,
Two tiny souls, a heavy cross.

The elevator door opened with a soft ding, and Siddharth dragged himself out, his steps heavy with worry and anticipation. Chitti gently asked for Neha's ward number to the receptionist, and together with Ram, they guided Siddharth through the maze of hallways, each step feeling like an eternity.
As they turned a corner, their eyes fell upon Joseph, standing by a window with an empty gaze, lost in his thoughts. Vasundhara sat nearby, her expression etched with concern and weariness. Joseph turned at the sound of footsteps, his eyes meeting theirs with a mixture of relief and apprehension.
Siddharth?
Joseph called out when he spotted Siddharth, his voice heavy with emotion as he beckoned them over. Vasundhara rushed forward, enveloping her son in a tight embrace. Siddharth held his mother close, as she cried.
Kozhandhaingaluku romba naal'ah ve odhambu seri illanu yen da yenga kitta sollala? Naanga vandhurupomlae?
( Why didn't any of you inform us that the babies were unwell? We would been here for you guys!)
Vasundhara scolded.
The signs had been there all along, lurking beneath the surface, yet Siddharth and Neha had never anticipated the severity of what lay ahead. Each subtle warning, every moment of unease, had been brushed aside in the hopes of a brighter outcome. But now, as they stood on the precipice of their worst fears, the reality of their situation hit them with a crushing force. It was a stark reminder that sometimes, despite all efforts to prepare, life had a way of blindsiding even the most vigilant.
Vasu, adhellam aprom pesikalam. Modhala Siddharth poi Neha'va paarkatum
( Vasu, this isn't the right to talk about that. Let Siddharth go see Neha first)
Ama macha
( He's right)
Chitti' agreed as he patted Vasundhara's shoulder.
As Siddharth broke away from his mother's embrace, Joseph's touch on his cheek offered a bittersweet reassurance. The weight of responsibility hung heavy on Siddharth's shoulders, knowing that Neha needed him now more than ever. Joseph understood this too well, realizing that despite his own desire to comfort his daughter, Siddharth was the one Neha truly needed in this moment of profound loss.
Joseph guided Siddharth to Neha's ward and left for the couple to have privacy.

Siddharth opened the door to find Neha sitting on the bed, her gaze fixed intently on something she held in her hand. Beside her, Regina sat quietly, her eyes lifting to meet Siddharth's as he entered the ward. Regina offered a brief, reassuring glance before rising from her seat.
