To even think about it
>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<Neha was surprised to realized that she was even thinking about the matter in her cabin. It is the only thing that has still been running in her mind since she woke up that morning. How could they even think of a possibility like that? Especially at a time like this? It's not something so simple to just go abroad for studies. The formalities, the decisions, it scared her. Which was surprising to Neha.
If before, she might not have been scared, but now she couldn't help but notice how used to she has become to always having people around her, until her first thought was how will she or them survive without each other? Who would refill Joseph's essentials every month? Who would teach Vasundhara how to use the washing machine? Who would be there for them when Siddharth goes outstation?
Again she realized where her brain was going and had to shake herself out of it.
Neha, focus..
Neha warned herself, not realizing that Regina who was sitting opposite her explaining about the patient's status's weirdly staring at Neha. Day by day Neha was making Regina have confused feelings that she was the one who suggested Neha to get marry, because ever since then the girl has .. well, changed.
D-Doctor?
Regina stammered to which Neha looked up,
Yenna yedho football coach madhiri, focus focus'nu soltu irukinga? Yenna achu?
Onnum illa sister
Neha vehemently shook her head, refusing to entertain the topic further. Deliberately avoiding any discussions about it, she aimed to divert her focus from the matter. Neha convinced herself that if she could resist dwelling on it for a day or two, the issue would eventually fade, and everything would return to normal.
Ada paravala sollunga doctor
Illa venam sister
Sollunga doctor
Sister, please venam
Doctor, neenga sollama na vidha poradhu illa, solunga solunga solunga-
Enga appa yenna padhika solraru
Regina's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. Wasn't it sufficient that this girl's brain and heart functioned at different rates due to "over-studying"?
Padhika solrara?
Neha nodded, retrieving her planner from her bag. Flipping to the first page, she showed it to Regina, revealing the picture of her once-favorite university. Neha pointed to it as she explained to Regina,
Munna enaku inga electrophysiology padikanumnu aasai, ana enga appa kitta sonadhu illa. Ippo yepdhiyo kandhupudhichitaru. Enaku theriyama yaar kittayo recommendation letter lam vangi, nethu dhan enkitta ketaru
Adhuku neenga yenna sonninga?
Mudhiyadhu dhan sonnen, adhuku enga appa aunty'ya vechi enna convince panna patharu. Yepdhiyo thapichiten
Avaruku theriyuma?
Neha shook her head, and Regina sighed, nodding in understanding. However, a question popped into Regina's mind.
Ama, nejamave ungaluku padhikanumnu thonala?
Na aasai irundhuchunu sonnen, ippo irukunu solala
Are you sure?
Of course
Neha shrugged very confidently, however, Regina wasn't convinced yet. So she remembered a movie she had watched and picked out a coin from her purse. She showed it to Neha, who quizzically stared at it.
Ippo na idha toss panuven, heads na neenga poringa, tail'ah irundha neenga poga vendham yeppadhi?
Neha frowned but knew there was nothing stopping Regina at this point. With no other option, she hummed and plopped her head on her hand, watching. Regina murmured something, a chant maybe, before she tossed the coin upwards. Unfortunately, when it came down, she failed to catch it correctly, and the coin fell on the ground. Regina fumbled and looked for it, making Neha chortle and earning a glare. Regina shook her head.
Adha vidhunga, andha coin namaku mukiyum illa. Ana adha toss panapo unga manasula onnu thonuchula, adha seiyunga!
Manasula thonadhu...
As Neha recalled what exactly she was hoping for when Regina tossed the coin, her eyes widened in shock. Again, she warned herself.
No no no! Neha, Focus!

Siddharth reclined on his bike, fingers interlocked behind his head. The leather seat beneath him provided a sturdy yet somewhat comfortable support. His left foot casually rested on his right knee, displaying a relaxed posture amidst the contemplative atmosphere. The metallic frame of the bike, slightly warmed by the sun, contrasted with the cool breeze that gently tousled his hair. Siddharth's gaze fixated on the expansive canvas of the sky above.
Was this what Neha wanted? To study more and abroad? Has he knowingly and unknowingly been the obstacle to that?
If it was the older Siddharth, he doesn't think he would have sit here and even imagine a possibility of Neha being away from him. If she doesn't ponder it Siddharth might have leave it to be in peace, but he wasn't. Since the first day he saw her, he wasn't the old Siddharth.
He had realized a lot about himself, and one of it was how important she was to him. Her opinions, her likes, her dislikes, were important to him, and thus her dreams.
Siddharth sat up on his bike and after pondering for a moment, he took out his mobile and made a phone call, needing to do something about this since the joining date stated on the recommendation letter was only three weeks from now.
On the other end, Neha was puzzled as Siddharth's name flashed on her mobile screen. The silence between them had stretched for more than a week, and she couldn't help but feel a tinge of nervousness. Stepping aside to the corridor, she answered the call, wondering what could prompt Siddharth to break their prolonged silence.
Hello?
Siddharth keenly felt Neha's reluctance to engage with him, recognizing her hesitancy to even converse. He swallowed hard, the lump of guilt settling heavily in his throat.
Na unna pakanum
Neha's heart fluttered unexpectedly; the realization hit her that she had missed him more than she knew.
Yenga?
Coffee shop?
>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<
Neha rushed into Credence cafe during her lunch break, spotting Siddharth at their usual spot. A pang of guilt hit her as she realized she was late, and he likely had something important to discuss. Without giving him a chance to speak, she quickly sat across from him and offered an apology.
I'm so sorry, I'm late. Traffic'ah irundhuchu
However Siddharth sensed her frustration, and it hit him how much he might have seemed inconsiderate in the past. Because her first instinct to everything was that he can't understand, he can never understand. Siddharth sighed nodding his head as he crossed his hands on the table as Neha ordered for both of them.
Yedhuku vara sonnae? Yenna vishiyam? Veetlaye pesirukalame?
Illa odhane, pese vendhiya vishiyam. Adhan
Yennadhu?
Siddharth retrieved the carefully preserved recommendation letter from his pocket, placing it on the table before Neha. Her eyes widened and Siddharth said,
I want you to accept this, Neha
>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<
What do you think Neha is going to say and how is Siddharth going to convince her?
