Prom
>>>>---- ♥️ ----<<<<

Neha, na keela poi wait panren

( Neha, I'll be waiting downstairs)

Siddharth called out to Neha as she was still getting ready, standing by the door and slipping on his shoes,

Haahn, seri!

( Haahn, fine!)

Neha has a lots of plus but her punctuality out of her job is not one of them. She has a tendency to take "five more minutes" that often stretched into an hour.

Neha glanced at herself in the mirror one last time, trying to compose herself before the prom. Despite her efforts, a pout formed on her lips as she couldn't shake off the feeling of reluctance. Why attend a prom where people pretend to know the same people they ignore throughout the whole class weeks?

Neha descended to the lobby, expecting to find Siddharth waiting with the car as he had mentioned. However, her confusion peaked when she spotted him waiting beside his bike instead. She furrowed her brows as she approached him, puzzled by the change of plan.

Namba car'la poromnu dhane sonnae?

( You told me we'll be going on a car?)

Solren, first'uh un phone kudhu

( I'll tell you, but first give me your phone)

Neha handed Siddharth her phone, curious about what he was up to. She waited patiently as he tinkered with it, not daring to interrupt. When he finally handed it back to her, she glanced at the screen and was utterly taken aback. Her jaw dropped, and her eyes widened in disbelief.

Yedhuku Keerthi'ku namba varalanu text pannirukae?

( Why did you text Keerthi that we are not coming?)

Yenna namba polae

( Because we're not going there)

Yen?!

( Why?!)

Siddharth struggled to contain his laughter at Neha's shocked expression, finding it increasingly difficult as her glare intensified. He quickly composed himself, realizing that he might be pushing his luck.

Yepdhiyum unaku poga pudhikala, so namba pogala

( I mean you don't wanna go anyways, So we're not going)

What? Appo yedhuku enna indha dress'ah vaanga vecha?

( What? Then why did you make me buy this dress?)

Siddharth didn't provide a response; instead, he mounted the bike with a playful smirk, settling in before turning to look at her.

Nee en kitta soniya? Unaku poga pudhikala'nu?
