Their careers
>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<

Neha had regular scans and consultations with Renuka for the next two weeks. The babies' heartbeats improved slightly, but there was still much room for the improvement they needed, especially as Neha was close to entering her fifth month.

Regina and Neha's other colleagues pitched in to reduce her workload, ensuring she was only needed at the hospital when absolutely necessary.

As someone who had always been ready to assist her colleagues in times of need, Neha was grateful for the support she received in return. Navigating her pregnancy became much easier knowing she had a team behind her, ready to step in whenever she needed them.

It was a huge setback for her career, but Neha felt the need to take it.

Neha gratefully smiled at Siddharth as he brought her food from the kitchen. She was seated on the couch with her legs stretched out on the ottoman, Kattupoochi nestled comfortably on her lap. She scooped up the cat, now bigger than it used to be, and gently placed him next to her as she took the plate from Siddharth. He dropped down next to her, settling in with a contented sigh.

Suddenly the doorbell rang, Siddharth went and opened the door,

Va da

( Come in)

Enna mapla correct'ah nee samachu mudhichona vantenna?

( Did I correctly come as soon as you finished cooking?)

Chitti knew that if he had come earlier, he would have had to get caught with Siddharth's cooking battleground, and that is no joke.

Adhan enaku theriyume macha

( Tell me something I didn't expect next time)

Cheri cheri, thallu, na onnu vangitu vandhuruken paaru

( Fine, move aside. Look what I bought.)

Yennadha idhu?

( What is this?)

Chitti carried in the toy bikes that resembled real ones into the house. There were two of them, each almost as tall as an adult's knee. Chitti placed one of the bikes aside while setting the other one in the center of the living room. He then moved to pick up Kattupoochi, who was lounging on the couch next to Neha.

Yenna ma nalla irukiya?

( How are you Neha?)

Na nalla irukken, neenga yenna panna poringa?

( I'm doing good but what are you going to do?)

Ippa paaru

( Wait and watch)

Chitti placed the wailing Kattupoochi inside the bike and pressed a button, causing it to start moving. Neha and Siddharth exchanged confused glances—did Chitti really just buy a bike for their cat? Yes, he did, and he seemed very proud about it.

Dei paithiyame, yenna idhu?

( Hey lunatic, what is all this?)

Siddharth asked his friend, while Neha chuckled at Kattupoochi, whose lazy self was already enjoying the ride. She picked up her phone to snap pictures of the amusing scene.

Illa mapla, un biker genes'uh family kula odhanumla? Adhunala ennodha gift'uh idhu

( I mean we have to pass down your biker genes into the family you know? So this is my small gift for that)
