Yenna thedra?
( What are you looking for?)
Nethu veetuku varumbodhu Karthik'ku oru hoodie vagunen, inga table'la dhan vechen, kannom. Nee pathiya ma?
( I bought home a hoodie for Karthik yesterday, I kept it on the table, but I can't find it now. Did you see it?)
Neha smiled surprisingly before she answered,
Naan dhan minnuku dining table la vechen
( I placed it on the dining table)
Siddharth thanked her with a kiss on her cheek before moving outside. He sighed in relief when he finally found the bag he was searching for. However, as he looked down, he noticed Kattupoochi staring at him intently. Siddharth smiled sheepishly at the little feline.
Un size'uh kedhaikala bro, na next time vangi tharen
( I couldn't find your size, I'll buy one for you next time)
Kattupoochi hissed before walking away, and Neha, observing the scene from the room, couldn't help but chuckle at her husband.
The previous night, when Siddharth revealed what he did for getting close to Karthik, Neha was taken aback. It had taken her considerable time and effort to build a rapport with the child, but Siddharth had managed to do so in just one day. She was both surprised and impressed when Siddharth shared his approach, and she couldn't help but laugh heartily at his cleverness. Since she had never gotten the chance to witness, Neha realized then, for the first time, how naturally good Siddharth was with kids.
Seeing his success, Neha contacted the dean and arranged permission to take Karthik out with them, understanding that she needed to be present in case of any medical emergencies. She gladly agreed, feeling a renewed sense of appreciation for Siddharth's skill and excited about the opportunity to make things easier for Karthik.
Siddharth rushed Neha to be ready quickly as he knew Karthik would be waiting for them.

Karthik rummaged through his luggage bag, searching for a suitable outfit but finding nothing that felt right for race day. Frustration bubbled up in his small frame as he clicked his tongue in annoyance. He couldn't even ask anyone for a new one, feeling a bit stuck in his predicament. Just then, the door swung open, and Neha walked in to find Karthik standing shirtless in front of his open bag, wearing only his pants.
She frowned,
Good morning
Karthik didn't say a word but huffed in frustration and walked over to the nearby sofa, crossing his arms over his chest as he sat down. Neha's frown deepened as she approached him, placing her bag on the table before kneeling in front of him.
Yennachu? Yen kovama irukae?
( What happened? Why are you angry?)
Onnu illa
( Nothing)
Neha took a glance at the messy clothes strewn around and had a hunch about the situation. Deciding not to pry, she reached into her handbag, pulled out a hoodie, and handed it to Karthik with a warm smile.
