Neha's eyes fluttered open to the sight of an empty space beside her, the morning light filtering through the curtains, casting a soft glow in the room. With a start, she glanced at the clock and realized it was much later than her usual waking time. Hastily throwing off the covers, she rushed out of the room, curiosity and concern driving her steps.

As she entered the kitchen, the comforting aroma of breakfast greeted her, mingling with the sound of sizzling coming from the stove. There, amidst the gentle clatter of utensils, stood Siddharth, focused and intent on the task at hand. His black vest and grey sweatpants emphasized the casual elegance of his form, a sight that both surprised and intrigued Neha. It was a rare sight to see Siddharth in the kitchen, and yet, there he was.

Siddharth?

Siddharth looked behind and smiled at Neha,

Good Morning!

Yen enna yelupalae? Late achu

Siddharth then looked at the clock and hissed,

Achocho, gavanikalama? Seri nee onnu pannu, poi kulichitu va. Na saapadhu pack panni vekiren, anga poi saptuko

Neha hesitated, but before she could voice her thoughts, Siddharth shook his head with a resigned sigh. With a gentle yet firm hand, he guided her back into the room, silently urging her to follow him.

Inime yedhukum nee solrae varaikum wait panradha illa, poi kulichitu va

Neha pouted in protest, but Siddharth remained steadfast, silently communicating that there was no room for argument. Reluctantly, she complied, her lips twisted in a frustrated huff as she made her way to the wardrobe. Siddharth couldn't help but smile at her antics, shaking his head in fond exasperation.

When Neha emerged from the room, she was greeted by the sight of Siddharth holding a neatly packed breakfast along with her bag and shoes, all set and ready for her day. A warm smile adorned his face as he extended the items to her, his eyes reflecting a mixture of care and affection.

Marandhudhadhae, saapdhu

With a nod and a grateful smile, Neha hastily grabbed her things and rushed out of the door, slipping on her shoes in a hurry. But just as she reached the threshold, a sudden thought seemed to halt her in her tracks. Siddharth raised an eyebrow in confusion, but his expression softened into a smile when Neha quickly turned back towards him. With a wave and a hurried "bye," she dashed out of the house, leaving Siddharth chuckling to himself as he waved back at her disappearing figure.

Neha's excitement for the break today was palpable, so much so that it even caught Keerthi off guard.

Yenna avlo pasiya?

Neha beamed proudly as she took out her lunch box, and Keerthi nodded in surprise, intrigued by Neha's sudden burst of enthusiasm.

Paravalaye! Ana nee kovama irukaenu nenachen?

Na kovama dhan irukken, ana adhae sapadhula kartha koodhadhu la? Adhan!

Neha fibbed and huffed with excitement, a rare display of emotion that caught Keerthi off guard. Chuckling, Keerthi shook her head, amused by Neha's enthusiasm. Little did Keerthi know, Neha's excitement stemmed from the fact that this was the first time Siddharth had cooked just for her. It had been a long time since someone had taken the time to prepare a meal meticulously for her, and the gesture warmed her heart more than she could express.

Perhaps for that one special reason , this day could be an exception.

As Neha opened the lunchbox, a smile tugged at the corners of her lips at the sight before her. The food inside was arranged meticulously, forming a heart shape that spoke volumes of Siddharth's efforts to win her over. Despite the unexpected turn of events, Neha couldn't help but chuckle softly to herself, shaking her head in disbelief at Siddharth's persistent attempts to reach her heart through every possible avenue.

Neha's eyes widened in surprise as she savored the first bite of Siddharth's cooking. The aroma alone had been tantalizing, but the taste surpassed all expectations. She closed her eyes, allowing herself to fully immerse in the delightful flavors dancing on her taste buds. However, as she continued to eat, a strange sensation washed over her. Her breathing became irregular, and her heart began to race. Panic flickered in her eyes as she struggled to regain control, uncertain of what was happening.

Neha's heart skipped a beat as she stared down at the innocuous-looking dish before her. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks.

With trembling hands, the spoon slipped from her grasp, clattering against the table and drawing Keerthi's alarmed gaze.

Neha?

Keerthi's voice echoed in the background, her concern evident, but Neha could barely hear her over the roaring panic in her ears. She clutched her chest, struggling to draw in a steady breath as fear threatened to overwhelm her.

Egg Whites, it had egg whites.

As Siddharth's phone rang with Neha's caller ID flashing on the screen, he felt a surge of anticipation coursing through him. Excusing himself from the conversation he was engaged in, he walked a few steps away to take the call in private. With each ring, his heart quickened.

Pressing the answer button, Siddharth held the phone to his ear, his mind already celebrating a small victory at the prospect of hearing Neha's voice on the other end of the line.

Hello Neha?

Siddharth?

He frowned when he realized that it was a different voice.

Hello?

Na Neha oda friend, Keerthi. Neenga konjam hospital varaikum vara mudhiyuma?

In the very earlier chapter, I did mention about Neha's allergic. I know its a very short update, but the next one is special so I saved it for that.
