Catch a Flight
>>>>---- ♥️ ----<<<<

Neha couldn't help but marvel at how swiftly time seemed to fly by. As he emerged from the shower looking fresh and ready, she couldn't shake off her disbelief. With a resigned sigh, she shuffled to the kitchen, determined to whip up a hearty breakfast for him despite the ungodly hour. It felt like just yesterday when Siddharth surprised her with his unexpected appearance on a random pavement, and now here he was, already leaving.

Siddharth's mind raced with a flurry of questions and uncertainties as he observed Neha's behavior. He couldn't decipher whether her silence stemmed from disappointment or worry. The urge to reassure her gnawed at him, yet he couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that she wasn't voicing her true feelings. Despite his determination to return to her regardless, a part of him longed for her to simply say the words he yearned to hear. Did she not want him to come back?

The weight of those few words hung heavy in the air, yet they remained unspoken. Siddharth couldn't fathom why Neha hesitated to utter them, especially when their time together had been scarce due to their commitments to help with Nirmala and Abhi to move-in. For him, those words held the key to his reassurance and their futu. He couldn't help but wonder why something seemingly simple felt so difficult to express.

It was very hard for her indeed, he had neglected his career too much to stay here with her. On the course of his stay here, she noticed his focus in his attendance to his practices wavering as he spent more time with her compared to at the academy. She knew he hid it and she also knew that if he didn't go this time, it might bring a risk to his career.

So if she asks him to come back, he will actually come back and put everything at risk. The career that he had given so much to build would be at risk and she wasn't going to be the reason behind it.

Siddharth came over and sat on the dining table, as Siddharth brought his breakfast to him. As they ate, the air between them felt heavy with unspoken words and unresolved emotions. Each bite seemed to carry the weight of their unexpressed feelings, making the meal more somber than usual. Siddharth stole glances at Neha, trying to decipher her thoughts, while Neha struggled to find the courage to voice her inner turmoil.

Siddharth?

Siddharth paused and looked up with hope,

Are you sure you can be alone? Naan dhan vandharren'nu solrenlae?

( Are you sure you can be alone? I can still come with you)

Siddharth closed his eyes momentarily, and let out a sigh,

Paravala

( It's fine)

Neha noticed the sourness behind his words, as he twisted his lips and continued eating without looking at her. She couldn't fathom if she should laugh or be worried at his "angry" face.

Siddharth couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as he prepared to leave, his heart heavy with the thought of parting from Neha. Despite his efforts to mask his emotions with a pout and sulky demeanor, he couldn't hide the turmoil within. Meanwhile, Neha sat beside him in silent contemplation, her mind racing with the prospect of returning to an empty home without him by her side. As the first announcement for Siddharth's flight echoed through the bustling airport, both of them rose to their feet, the impending separation looming over them. Just as Siddharth was about to push his trolley, Neha's gentle touch brought him to a halt, her hand resting on the handle.
