Masterplan
>>>>———— ♥️ ————<<<<Joseph, armed with a watering can, was tending to his beloved garden. He'd often joke that the weather had become unusually capricious lately, forcing him to become a part-time plant babysitter. These plants had now become his newfound "green" responsibility, he'd chuckle, proudly declaring that his old duties had been officially passed on to Siddharth. It seemed that the plants were privy to this changing of the guard, standing tall and leafy with an air of self-importance in the garden.
While absorbed in his horticultural duties, Joseph suddenly detected subtle movements nearby. He turned his head with a mixture of curiosity and surprise, his weathered eyes meeting the sight of Siddharth tending to another plant with equal devotion.
Siddharth-
Na oothuren uncle, onnum prechana illa.
Aiyo, adhuku already oothiten pa, idhuku mela oothuna sethurum.
Siddharth dropped the watering can with an abrupt halt, followed by a slightly awkward chuckle.
Joseph let out a hearty chuckle while shaking his head, a hint of amusement in his eyes. He gestured toward a particular area of the garden, saying,
Inga indha chedi'ku lam oothu.
Siddharth obediently followed Joseph's guidance, diligently tending to the designated spot. As he worked, he hesitated to start the conversation, grappling with his thoughts. After a brief internal struggle, he finally found the courage to speak.
Uncle?
he began tentatively.
Sollu pa?
Unga kitta oru help venum
Yennadhu?
Enga amma mandhai'ya kaluva unga help venum
Joseph furrowed his brows, his gaze piercing as he turned around to face Siddharth. He quizzically cocked his head at his son-in-law and inquired,
Yedhuku?
Siddharth carefully set the water can on the ground, then swiftly retrieved his mobile from his pocket and rushed to Joseph's side. He showed him the selection list where his name was at the top. Just by the look of it, Joseph realized that Siddharth had been selected into the Paris tournament, the bikers' names hadn't been released yet. Joseph's face beamed in happiness.
Congratulations, Siddharth!
Thanks, uncle. Indha tournament poga dhan amma mandhai'ya kaluvanum.
Joseph's frown deepened as he responded,
Vasu'ku theriyadha?
Siddharth sighed in frustration and replied,
Adhellam theriyum, ana avanga yedho na time pass'ku bike othuren nu nenachitu irukanga.
Joseph was clearly taken aback by this revelation. If it had been him in Vasundhara's place, he thought he would never stop talking about Siddharth.
Idhu varaikum, yevlo'vo try panten, enga amma'ku na oru aal'ne puriya maatudhu, uncle
Siddharth lamented.
As they strolled through the garden, Joseph chuckled at Siddharth's lament and said,
Anga yerkanave avanga enna'kum Neha'kum chemistry vara vekkiren'nu soltu, yenna Neha pinnadhi suthuradha thavara vera yedhuvume panna vida maatranga. Idhula idha poi sonnen house arrest'eh nadhandhalum nadhakum.
