Chapter Seven: Insanity

It has officially been a week since my daily publishing schedule. I must say, it is physically and mentally taxing, as I had to give up a few hours of sleep and me-time to achieve this milestone.

But it was worth it to receive so much support and reading so many nice and funny comments! :D

Third Person Omniscient.

Obsidian found Huge Gigantacus and told Steven where to find her. Steven initially told her to bring Huge Gigantacus to him, but she was insistent that he should come to her. After ziplining to the location with the Line Launcher, Steven finds that Huge Gigantacus doesn't have his beloved mechanical chair, which means that something was wrong.

Huge Gigantacus never travels without his chair, he can hardly walk on his two little legs. He had never touched the ground in ages, so he lost all feeling in his legs and is constantly feeling pins and needles when he stands on them. Obsidian stepped to the side and allowed Steven to interrogate the little man.

"Spinel's injector." Steven states, grabbing the little man by his head and removing his helmet before lifting him up to hold him by his head. "How do I stop it?"

Huge Gigantacus groans. "Forget the injector. I want the clown! She stole my chair and freeze ray! I'll end her for what she's done to me!"

Steven dropped the little man. "Spinel's mine. You need to focus on stopping that injector, or billions of innocent people will die."

The little man sighs. "You don't understand. I cannot do anything without my chair."

"Then tell me how to bypass your freeze ray." Steven demanded.

Huge Gigantacus looks up. "Do I look like a fool? Why would I tell you that?"

"Because if she uses it to defend herself, I won't help you get your chair back." Steven negotiates. "Think about it, HG."

"Don't let this situation fool you, Steven." Huge Gigantacus retorts. "You stole some of my equipment and destroyed the rest. It's because of you that I was unable to stop the clown from stealing my injector, since you've destroyed almost everything."

Obsidian flinches at the fact he blames Steven for the incident that's going on on Earth. She knew very well that Steven already blames himself for everything that happens to him and everyone, he doesn't need someone directly saying, 'it's your fault' to him and further make him put himself down and have suicidal thoughts. However, Steven was furious by Huge Gigantacus' resistance, so he thought of a quick interrogation method to make the little man talk.

From their last encounter and using Detective Mode, Steven learns that Huge Gigantacus lost the skin at his chest and has a metal plate stitched to his body to conceal his exposed innards. Huge Gigantacus never specified what exactly happened to his chest, nor did he say who did it, because he doesn't like to talk about it. It was rumored that he was badly injured by the 'magic flower' he keeps talking about, but nobody ever believes him.

It didn't matter to Steven who hurt Huge Gigantacus that badly, because he held the little man down with one arm and used the other arm to pry off the metal plate on Huge Gigantacus' chest to reveal his rotten organs. The little man's ribcage was broken due to Steven crushing him with his foot from their last encounter and that shattered his ribcage.
