I apologize for my absence, my hiatus wasn't even supposed to take that long. I planned to give myself a few days off, possibly a week, to brainstorm for the upcoming chapters and I've hit many brick walls, along with struggling with personal issues. I also got engrossed with the latest chapters in the original Steven Universe: Arkham Edition about Rose The Flower.

Yes, I have seen how she is written and kept quiet about it (meaning I didn't write comments). Will Rose The Flower show up here and will she be written the same way?

I am unsure how to implement her. Then again, she is a character who could just occur with the snap of her petal-fingers, so it may be in-character for her to just appear. Samuel did a fantastic job with her, taking an original route with her rather than using her character from our collaboration story (the Crystal Gem AU) and his AU trilogy.

However, I sort of wish she was more cryptic than what we got, as I like the unpredictable characters rather than a predictable one. After all, she is canonically more powerful than the likes of Thanos, Darkseid, Superman, the Diamond Authority, Galactus, pretty much most/all of the galactic big-shots.

Anyway, I might plan to implement her and try with a more cryptic Rose than what we got (I'm not saying she was written poorly, I just wish she was more mysterious).

Third Person Omniscient.

Squaridot takes a seat in front of Professor Moonstone, to which the professor had several bruises on her face and her hair slightly thrashed.

"Good afternoon." The professor greets, trying her best to ignore her rasping voice after being choked violently by someone. "I appreciate your attendance for this meeting. And I thought it best we met alone."

"I know what you're doing, Moonstone. You're separating me from the other dimwits that despise Steven and appealing to my ego." Squaridot points at her.

"Is it working?" Professor Moonstone inquires, her voice too hoarse to show her true tone.

"HA! I don't HAVE an ego, Moonstone. I'm far too brilliant." Squaridot sneers. "You're simply trying to showboat your way in to bask in my luminescent ovation of slaying Steven Universe. A foe I could vanquish minimal cerebral effort put into it."

"But what if you fail, peridot?" The professor asks kindly, slightly coughing. "What if, by some underhand means, of course, Steven Universe were to humiliate you again?"

"Absurd!" Squaridot refutes.

"I know, it is an intimidating thought to ponder about." The professor softly chuckles, which hurts her throat but her amusement was worth it. "How many failures can even your enviable reputation withstand? Perhaps, did you ever contemplate on assistance when brainstorming the demise of the Diamond hybrid?"

"The only assistance I ever need is acquiring the less-stupid hoodlums capable of obeying simple instruction by delivering me information and mechanical parts to construct my brilliant and inventive conundrums." Squaridot boasts with her excessive-vocabulary once more.

The professor finds her recitation of large words amusing. "Of course, but I meant something different, like a partnership?"

"Are you suggesting that I collaborate my superiority to that of an unethical and deceitful local therapist?" Squaridot mockingly asked. "I don't think so."
