One Week Later [For those of you who aren't keeping count, it would be two weeks since Moonstone proposed Arkham City to Moonlight]:
Jasper was shoved into the room with a rejuvenation collar strapped around her neck.
"Good morning." Moonstone greets calmly. "Take a seat."
"Why am I here?" Jasper growls in a demanding tone, almost as if she thinks she holds the power in this conversation.
"I'd like to have a chat with you." Moonstone points at the chair again. "Please, take a seat."
"I have nothing to say to you." Jasper refused.
And then the professor pressed a button on her desk. The collar beeps and then it shocks Jasper.
"AAAGH!" Jasper fell on her knees.
"Take a seat, or else I will increase the voltage to a 'noticeable' difference." The professor advises.
Jasper begrudgingly got up from the ground and placed herself on a chair that was kind of too small for her.
"What do you want?" Jasper vindictively asked.
"I wish to know your story, your past during the Gem War." Moonstone requests, almost sounding like she didn't just threaten Jasper's life.
"Why?" Jasper gives her an annoyed look.
"For the sake of learning, and because it is mandated to give psychiatric and psychological profiling to all new patients." Moonstone replied. "Now, start talking."
"I had completed my incubation process completely and emerged from the Earth's crust during battle and shattered about eighty Crystal Gems on my first day of battle. To be quite honest, it was probably the most fun I have ever had before." Jasper explains in recollection.
"Yes, I've seen the report of your incubation process. You were the first gem to ever complete their incubation process and come out perfectly." Professor Moonstone acknowledged. "Quite fascinating in the eyes of a scientist."
Jasper would normally take compliments like that, but not to the likes of Moonstone.
Nonetheless, she continues. "After that, they all retreated like cowards and I was taken to my squadron to protect Pink Diamond."
"Ah, the same one who pretended to be a rebel and granted a human her gifted powers." Moonstone slightly smiled. "It must have been humiliating for you to have looked up and served your Diamond, only for her to fight you as your greatest enemy and then do it again in the guise of a human boy."
"Shut up..." Jasper growls lowly.
"Though, I am wondering about your feud with Moonlight. It's actually surprising that the both of you do not like each other." Moonstone's smile disappeared. "You both have so much in common. Similar aspirations, similar tastes, similar looks."
"The reason why I hate her is because she is a fraud." Jasper balls her fist in anger. "She was weak and used some cheap trick to make herself stronger. She keeps this technique hidden from the rest of us so she could hold all the glory of being Homeworld's most powerful non-Diamond entity."
The professor chuckled. "I understand."
"You do?" Jasper said, perplexed.
"You're jealous."
