Samuel firmly held Spinel by her arm, not squeezing it but keeping a grip on it. Both of them walked in silence upstairs to Moonlight's office. Any employee that saw them passing by didn't question them - because they're mostly frightened by Spinel's presence and Samuel's grim attire.

Spinel softly glanced over to Samuel, who was keeping an impassive face behind his mask. "You could just... let me go..."

"If I do that, I will die." Samuel replied indifferently as they proceeded closer to Moonlight's door.

And then they reached her doorstep. Samuel felt a chilling presence through his withering body, almost a sign telling him to turn around. Spinel was feeling a similar feeling, except fear of the unknown was amplifying it.

Samuel knocked on the door, and waited for some sort of response.

...

...

...

Nothing...

Then knocked again.

...

...

...

"Heh, guess nobody's home..." Spinel sheepishly smiled to laugh off her fear. "It's a real shame... really... Guess we gotta go now..."

"There you are."

Spinel jumped and clasped her body on Samuel's. She surprisingly didn't weigh him down when he's just as skinny as her - if not then skinnier. He nonchalantly turns around with Spinel grasping him for dear life.

Moonlight was standing behind them the entire time. She looked happy for some reason, perhaps Spinel is the reason why.

"You brought me Spinel!" Moonlight's face beamed happily, making Spinel climb her way behind Samuel while holding his torso.

"I said I would." Samuel said calmly.

"Did you also bring me the stuff you borrowed?" Moonlight inquired while smiling, her evil-looking teeth trying to intimidate him.

There was nothing separating the two of them, except maybe Spinel - but she's not gonna be much help. Moonlight could just kill him right now, he already gave her everything she needed.

And eating his body would certainly give her more patience to wait until that boy is ready to be devoured by her. But she is a gem of her word, which means that her pride and integrity is stronger than her hunger.

Samuel gives her the equipment he took, all except the vest. He forgot to take it off prior to this, he was thinking about White Diamond so much that it slipped away from his top priority.

"Where's my vest?" Moonlight asked impatiently, her grin faltering and her eyes expressing annoyance.

"I'm wearing it..." Samuel sighed when he remembered. "Is there a room for me to change out of it?"

"No. But you can change right here." Moonlight said sickeningly. "I'm sure the two of us won't mind, right Spinel?"

Spinel is reminded of her curiosity about what Samuel looked like underneath his clothes. Without knowing what she was doing, she nodded and uncoiled from Samuel's torso. She stood back from the human, but she ended up backing up into Moonlight's arm for her to pull the pink gem close to her - ensuring she doesn't try to run.
