In this prewrite, I have one thing to say: I feel like Huge Gigantacus is really underappreciated as a character in the original Arkham Edition. Because without him, Steven and Obsidian wouldn't have stopped Spinel's injector and Steven would have died. So he cures Steven and helps stop the injector... BUT NOBODY EVER SAYS THANK YOU TO HIM!!!

Third Person Omniscient.
Spinel pulls the trigger and... nothing happens.
"What?!" Spinel shook the weapon and tried again.
Steven finally pulled the knife out of his body and stood up, ignoring the bleeding wound. Spinel rapidly pulled the trigger countless times. Steven uppercuts Spinel, knocking her back on her butt and she drops the weapon on the floor.
Spinel scampered to the microphone and pressed the detonator button on it. Much like from earlier, nothing happened.
"What is going on?!" Spinel shook the microphone, creating some cringey audio feedback booming through the speakers.
After jamming her thumb through the microphone, she threw it at Steven and hit his wound, making him clutch at his side again.
Spinel growls. "If these cheap bombs won't bring the roof down, then I will!"
She enlarges her fist and strikes the ceiling above Steven, causing large chunks of debris to fall down. Spinel leaped out of the way and heard the ceiling hitting the floor behind her. She looked back and found blood near the fallen debris.
She couldn't tell if that was blood from his wound or the fact she had crushed his body with the ceiling. She couldn't stick around for too long, because she presumes that Obsidian would hear the destruction and she isn't prepared to fight her yet. Ironically, Obsidian was in the room with Steven and Spinel, she was hiding in the rafters.
She quickly swung on her wrist-grapple by to grab Steven as Spinel leaped out of the way to save him from the debris. Obsidian had taken him up to a platform near the rafters and Steven passed out from the bleeding. She quickly takes off her mask to reveal White Diamond's face so she can grab a first-aid kit from her gem.
It's one of the only things she can't put in her belt along with her gadgets. She opens the first-aid kit and starts cleaning and stitching Steven's stab wound. He can't afford to lose anymore blood, he already lost a lot, judging by the look of his face.
