Oh dear, it's been two months since I last updated this and I've given you all no warning. ;v;

I can confidently say that I've used this time to really start thinking about how I want this story to proceed, now after the original Arkham Edition had ended and the character Moonlight is now resting in my writer's hands for the rest of this story (and if I decided to ask Samuel permission to write Moonlight in for another story), I must treat her right while she takes a break from Samuel's stuff.

Anyways, I've thought out of how the rest of Sworn Enemies could go. Is it weird that I thought of the ending before thinking of what leads up to it? I usually find endings difficult to do, which is why I thought of them first. Because sometimes you can end on a sour note if you're not careful.

And I'll admit, the tone and mood that it would probably bring might be a letdown for those who enjoyed the dark and somewhat gritty tone this story built on. But I'll try to make it as normal and poignant as possible, if that helps.

Okay, enough rambling and I'll get on with this chapter.

Third Person Omniscient.

Samuel and Star were hiding on the walls outside of Arkham City. Despite how painful the place has treated Samuel, they have no other place to hide from Moonlight. With her being unemployed and losing everything, nothing would stop her from spending all of her time hunting them down.

And if she finds them here, they'll have to go inside Arkham City to avoid her.

"Do you really think she'll come for us in Arkham City?" Samuel asked, sitting down on the snowy ground.

"My sister has no limits." Star replied, nervously looking around. "Especially now that she lost everything."

Samuel furiously stood up from the ground. "Well, maybe you shouldn't have uploaded the footage!" He pointed a finger at her gem. "Because now we have no place to hide and we're standing out in the snow right next to the super-prison that ruined my life."

"She deserved it!" Star retorts, not showing remorse for her actions. "She's been living it up for too long, and she killed my mother!"

"I told you not to send it because of what would happen!" Samuel snapped back at her. "If you'd just listen to me and drop the whole vengeance--"

Star slapped his hand away and pointed her own finger at him. "Oh, you're the last person to lecture me about vengeance when you still hold a grudge against White."

"That's not relevant right now!" Samuel defensively replied, taking a bold step closer to her black face - unafraid of her sharp teeth precariously close to his face. "You screwed us!"

"But I--"

But then she was interrupted by a plume of pink smoke appearing and then they turned their heads to see Steven and Rosemary.

Samuel flinched and gasped softly. "T-The flower..."

"She's real?!" Black Star exclaimed, being more scared of the flower than Steven's presence. "I thought you were just hallucinating."

Rosemary chuckled at their fright. "I'm very real."

"Samuel." Steven cleared his throat to get his attention. "I'm here to take you back to White."
