In the living room of Steven's house, Spinel watched Disney+ to her heart's content since that's what Steven had told her to do. Right now, she was just scrolling through the selection, there's so much but nothing really eye-catching.
The front door opens, and in comes all of the Crystal Gems, minus Steven - obviously.
Spinel's eyes widened and she froze. The gems also looked a bit surprised, but not as noticeable as the jester's.
Garnet adjusts her visor. "Steven had told us about you staying here."
"I thought he said she'd be locked up." Amethyst whispered to Garnett.
"H-He left in a hurry... And he said I could watch whatever's on this Disney plus-sign thing." Spinel sheepishly explains while setting down the remote on the coffee table.
"Steven is a busy guy, he probably had more important things to do than to babysit you." Lapis replied while leaning against the wall near the door.
"Well, he made sure to accommodate her." Pearl added when she noticed the place where Spinel is supposed to reside.
"It looks kinda cozy in there." Bismuth said, noticing the small bed with very expensive blankets on it.
Peridot folded her arms and scoffed. "So unfair, I had to reside in a bathroom."
Spinel felt even more privileged because of that. She sorta feels bad that he's being favorist over her. And now they're back to the silence they once found themselves in. Nobody knows what to say or do, but thankfully they didn't have to think about it for too long.
CRASH!
Everyone immediately raced outside, with Spinel remaining inside due to Steven's instruction to remain there for her house arrest. At first, none of them knew what hit the ground - since there's a large plume of smoke surrounding the unidentified object and sand fell down around it.
Once the smoke cleared, a metal hand reached up from the sand and then another one popped out as well. More metal hands sprout from the ground and metallic bodies rose from the sand. Everyone was startled by this, but not because they're robots.
Is what they look like that has them alarmed. The first one that emerged from the sand had its metal painted purple and the size of it was small. And around its purple eyes resembles a face identical to Amethyst's.
Homeworld:
Samuel and Black Star jumped rooftop to rooftop to look for Huge Gigantacus. They both figured that he would stick to the skies due to his ability to fly in his mechanical chair. What's strange is that they both believe they recalled that his chair was destroyed not too long after his supposed death.
"You know, being on the rooftops feels kinda hot..." She seductively purrs while walking behind him as they stroll around the building's roof. "All alone, with nobody in sight..."
"But within earshot of everyone on the top floor of this building." Samuel replied, looking over the edge and noticing the windows. "Stay focused and attentive to anything purple or the sound of his chair."
"Hmm..." She tapped her chin and then snapped her fingers. "Oh, I have a better idea."
Then he noticed a light illuminating from his peripheral vision and then he glanced over to where she was at. When the light disappeared, he immediately looked away with his arm shielding his peripheral vision.
