"Wh-What?!" Rose replies, utterly baffled and almost disgusted at his request.

"You're not going to truly see how much humans have changed unless you interact with them. Kinda like the old Sun Tzu quote, 'to know the enemy, you must become the enemy.' If you interact with humans as a flower, of course they're going to be skeptical about you since you're unique. But if you try to blend in as a human, you can see just how different they are compared to the humans back in your day. Besides, even if you do show them that you're a plant, humans here won't be that much surprised when they've seen gems and interact with them just fine."

Rose covered her exposed legs and midsection with her cape, feeling like she's naked.

"Hey." Steven said softly. "You can trust me, Rose"

Except she never actually trusted him before. But now? What should she do?

"I... I..." Rose looked down. "I don't know..."

"I promise that you'll be okay if you do this." Steven continued. "What could happen?"

"I get shunned for existing?" Rose presumed a realistic possibility.

"Well, then that would make two of us." Steven replied, knowing the truth in her statement. "And for most gems on Little Homeworld, But we're very accepting nowadays."

Rose took a moment to breathe, not entirely sure why but it felt comforting.

After mere minutes, she exhaled, "okay."

"Really?"

"Sure..." Rose swallowed down her pride. "I suppose you make a point about what you've said... Let's just get this over with..."

With the wave of her wand, her body glows pink and her flower-like exterior was swallowed by the blinding light - only showing her as a silhouette. Steven squints his eyes and saw the silhouette quickly formed a slender body - with long hair just popping out from the top of its head and then something big wrapped itself around the torso and legs.

Then the light dimmed out and Steven could see what she looked like now.

A woman with pale skin stood there with long red hair - that matched the color of Rose's petals - draped on her shoulders and down. For her attire, she wore a large purple cloak, instead of a cape, that hid most of her body. Through the exposed seams of her cloak, Steven could see that she's wearing a tight green silk long sleeved shirt and pants - symbolizing her green limbs as a plant.

With the tight clothing on, he could see that she's very slim underneath the cloak. The only traits that seemed to be left from Rose as a plant was her eyes and wand - which are the same.

"Wow..." Steven uttered, blown away at how... beautiful she looked.

He has to admit, Rose looked very pretty as a human - prettier than anyone else he knows. She sort of looks like what his mother looked like as Rose Quartz. He did a quick glance over at the portrait of Rose Quartz on the wall and then back at Rose, comparing the two.

He had activated Detective Mode to see if her body looked any different than any other humans. She appears to look relatively the same, but her bones are illuminated green instead of blue.
