Third Person Omniscient.

Steven's eyes fluttered open, feeling immense pain in his back - he couldn't feel his legs.

"Ah, you're finally awake." Moonlight's voice was heard.

Steven looks around, not recognizing the room he was in. He also felt something strapped around his neck, like a collar. His body rests on a bed, it felt uncomfortable.

Then again, the bed itself probably felt fine but his broken spine makes it feel like he was resting on a bed of nails.

"Did you sleep well?" Moonlight asked. "Did you see anyone in particular during your slumber?"

"Why..." Steven stuttered, half tired and the other half in severe indescribable pain. "Why... are... you doing... this...?"

Moonlight approaches him at his side, getting down on her knees near the bed.

"I asked for your help in curing my condition, and you refused." Moonlight replied, her voice sounding a bit resentful but also in a caring way.

Perhaps both.

"And like I said before, if you refuse then I'll just take it by force..." Moonlight continues, her voice softly sounding unhinged the more she talks about Steven's refusal to help her. "Your blood is tasty, unlike anything I have ever tasted before. So succulent... So rare... So... special..."

She leans closer to his neck and sniffs it. And then she exhales, sounding like she moaned in his ears.

"You smell really good right now..." Her jaw hangs loose and her pointy teeth came close to the puncture holes on his neck from earlier tonight. "I just want to tear that neck open and lick up what it leaves behind... But I must take my time with you..."

She licks his neck instead, making Steven's head squirm. However, moving his head made sharp and violent pain strike his spine.

"AH! Agh....!" Steven's arms flailed a bit before he settled back down, he knew reacting to it would only make it worse.

"Aw~ Is someone feeling a little pain?" Moonlight mockingly cooed. "You know, everyone watched me break you. They were all surprised to watch it happen. I dunno if you're sidekick has seen it, but I'm sure she'll find out eventually."

"Why... aren't my powers... working?" Steven asked, wondering why his back is still broken.

It should've healed by now.

"Oh, that little necklace you're wearing stops you from using your healing powers. Do you like it? It's my little gift for you... so you can feel every bit of your pain..." Moonlight said kindly at the first few sentences, but said it eerily at the end of her sentence.

Then, she leaned back closer to him.

"You're mine now, Steven." Moonlight softly tells him, sounding possessive. "I used to hate thinking like this, but now I've come around. It felt so good to feel your spine crumble at my knee... It's just... oh, words cannot describe how satisfying it is to hurt you and drink your blood..." She pauses and licks her bloody teeth. "I will shatter your sidekick, I will continue hurting you until I feel satisfied. And when that time comes, when hurting you will no longer please me, then you will have my permission to die..."
