Lenora never met her real parents and the family that adopted her died in a terrible accident, leaving her to grow up with the sweet old couple who lived next door, who were more than happy to have the little 6 years girl to raise.

Second day at the Pro Hero Mirko's Agency:
Len woke up at 4, ate the breakfast Mirko's sidekicks provided her – that consisted of a large plate of eggs, toasted bread, some raw vegetables, and a chocolate protein shake –, put on her sports bra and shorts, and followed the instructions the Pro left her the night before to reach the gym on the forty-fifth floor.
Mirko was already there, waiting for her, "Good morning, kid."
"Good morning, ma'am."
They talked about Lenora's quirk once the girl settled her things down on the first day; Mirko decided to write down all the runes Lenora had on her body with their use besides to study them, their weakness and their strength and how much Lenora relied on them. Len also drew some more runes she was thinking about carving in the future.
"They seem dangerous", Mirko commented, reading what those runes could do.
"They are but they could also be a final move once I'll learn how to control them."
Mirko smirked, "I loved how you said 'once' and not 'if'. I'll help you with only one of these. Choose carefully, I want an answer tomorrow."
Lenora thought about it all night, talking about it also with Izuku, who called her right after he had dinner with Gran Torino. He supported her decision, even if it was a risk, but in the end, he was fully convinced Len could do anything so that was just another challenge for her.
"So, what rune did you choose?"
Lenora got closer to the hero, so she could see. The girl closed her eyes and once they fluttered open again in one of them the purple flakes and her black pupils started intertwined together, creating the human catastrophe rune. Inside it were collected phenomena similar to natural catastrophes; with just a snap of a finger she could create a tornado, a tsunami, or an earthquake in a millisecond, but instead of air, water, and earth, that rune was created to twist bone – like a tornado –, drown people on their blood – like a tsunami –, and shake the victim soul – like an earthquake. That was one of the most deadly runes on her body and that's why she placed it in her right eye: it would be better for it to be out of range. She swore to use it just in a desperate case.
Mirko approved her choice, "Really smart placing it in your eye. It's troublesome?"
Len shook her head, "No, I just need to get used to my new eye when I look at myself in mirrors!"
"Don't worry about your face. You look fine as hell! Now, let's get started, yeah?"
Len gave her a thumbs up, putting on her confident face, "Let's go."
They started with a quick but intense warm-up that comprehends simply jumping jacks, high knees, butt kickers, and some mobility plus elasticity exercises too.
