"One day, we'll be heroes together, Lennie!"

"I'll promise I'll be always by your side, Lennie!"

"You're the only friend I have, Lennie!"

"Lennie!"

"Lennie!"

"I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE TOO, LENNIE!"

"LENNIE, MOVE!"

"LENNIE!"

Len suddenly woke up, gasping for air. She touched her face, feeling a breathing mask on her mouth and quickly pull it off, shoving it on the ground. Her heart was racing in her chest, her head was pulsing badly and the bandage around her nose wasn't helping at all to breathe easier.

She passed her hands on her hair, pulling them a bit and closing her knees to the chest. She let out a muffled scream, remembering what that villain told her about her brother. She screamed 'cause she could still hear his voice. She screamed because she couldn't do more one more time.

"Shimizu, stop yelling, I'm trying to recover out here."

A feeble voice on her left scared her. She tilted her head, sniffing. She didn't even notice tears were falling down her cheeks.

On the other bed in the room what looked like a mummy was resting, his whole face covered in bandages and an arm in a cast.

Lenora squinted her eyes, "Mr. Aizawa?"

The mummy gave her a little, "Mmh," trying to shift position in the bed, "this mattress is killing me."

Lenora was embarrassed about her noisy awake, "Is it too early to crack a joke about 'killing' right?", she tried to ease up the situation with the only method she knew: sarcasm and dark humor.

"It is."

The girl sighed, her eyes trailing out the window, where the sun was setting down. She slept almost all afternoon.

ALL AFTERNOON?!

Her bag was on the bed table, and she quickly scanned it to search for her phone; Mariko and Tadashi must be worried, she was never late when it comes to returning home after a school day.

"Professor Midnight already called your grandparents, explaining the situation, stop with the fuss", Aizawa's throat burned at every word he spoke but somehow he didn't want to let the kid alone in a moment like that.

Lenora stopped rummaging just when she found her phone, noticing how many texts were popping on the screen.

'Girl, Midoriya gave me your number!! Reply asap!! Mina, xxx!'

'Hey Lenora, it's Kirishima! Mina gave me your number, hope it's not a prob! Give me a call when you wake up :)'

'Denki's here, I stole Kirishima's phone to have your number. Hope your face will heal fine! LMAO'
