"Lenora! Lenora! Lenora!", Mina hopped all her way to the door where Lenora was standing, finally back to her normal, cheerful self. Or so it was at the start.
"Mina, Mina, Mina!", she copied her friend, jumping in her arms and squeezing her.
After stepping out of the train, Len had to speedwalk toward U.A., the poor Midnight trying to keep up with her, being her backup just in case. Running with Nemuri behind her was the right push to make her smile again and forget all the bad things she thought all the three hours train ride. But something inside her was bottling up, it wasn't time to spill it out yet.
Uraraka joined the hug too, "Thank you girls for the birthday present! It was lovely!"
Their gravity girl had the unfortunate idea to be born the day after Christmas, so she had received just one celebrating-days present all her life, until Lenora, Mina, Tsu, Momo, Toru, Kyoka, Deku, and Iida stepped in it. They were so kind to bring her a little additional gift for her birthday and Tsu gave it to her during the internship, so a bit late but still made Uraraka cry like a baby.
Lenora kissed her cheek, taking a step back from the hug, "First, no prob! Second," she rotate on her heels, her eyes scanning the room to search her target, "Shoto! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
Heads turned to Todoroki, the boy becoming the new interesting thing of the day.
"Birthday?! 'Roki, why didn't you tell us? Happy birthday, man!", Sero was the closest to Shoto, so he was the first to speak, patting his left shoulder.
Shoto lowered his eyes, "I didn't think it was that important. Thank you."
Len slid under Todoroki's nose, her knees hitting the cold floor, Izuku, Iida, Kirishima, Mineta, Denki, and the girls behind her were on their feet.
"Of course, it's important, Todoroki! You're our friend!", Momo smiled kindly at the boy.
"Yeah, man! Celebrating your birthday with friends is funnier! After classes we should all cook your loved cold soba and Sato could make a cake, right man?", Kirishima was dragging a very annoyed Katsuki, who was still complaining about all that 'Icy-Hot shitty birthday'.
Sato gave Eijiro a thumbs up, "Sure! What's your favorite flavor, Todoroki?"
The half-and-half boy pondered for a moment, "I...I like apple pie..."
"Then apple pie it is!"
Iida checked his watch, gasping, "It's a shame to interrupt this nice moment, but I must brief you with today's agenda!"
"Yes, class rep!"
They all returned to their place, Momo and Iida taking theirs behind the front desk, smiling.
"For today's class, you'll be giving practical reports on your internship. Be prepared to share what you've gained through your experience!", Iida pointed at the wall with the costumes' cases, "Now, let's suit up and head to Ground Alpha!"
