Around her, quite voices were speaking with each other, whispering words she couldn't catch. Some steps beside her, a soft pillow under her head, a hard cold mattress, and some cheap sheets. A door was closed and silence fell in the room.

"Jeez, I fucking hate hospitals", was the firsts things she said after being asleep all the day of the rescue.

"Good evening to you too, Lenora", a deep voice greeted her. Len heard a chair being dragged and someone sitting on it, sighing.

Len weakly raised an arm, her hand tasting the person next to her, "Eraser?", she asked, recognizing the man's long hair.

"Yeah, now stop touching my hair", he delicately took her hand, placing it back on the bed.

At that point, Lenora opened her right eye and then the left one, blinking a few times to adjust her sight at the sunset light that was coming from the big window beside her bed. She tried to stand but a sharp pain shot into her right hip, making her grunt and fall back.

"Don't move, you're body is still healing," Aizawa warned her, "Recovery Girl did her best but your wounds were atrocious, so you may be in pain also all night."

Lenora needed a whole minute to recall everything that happened in the morning and she almost snap up again when she realized she was the only one in the hospital room.

"Where're the others? How about Eri? Chisaki? Please, tell me they're all fine! No wait, tell me Izuku kicked that bastard so hard to send him to space!", she spoke rapidly, coughing right after every question.

Aizawa went to fill up a glass of water and helped her gulp down some sips, rehydrating her sore throat.

"They're all fine. Eri's recovered here, but she'll be fine. Chisaki was attacked by the League during his relocation, but he's alive, even if he had some permanent injuries," the man filled her up with the latest news, "you, Nighteye, and Togata were the only ones seriously hurt."

Len sighed, "And how're they doing?"

Aizawa didn't answer immediately, taking his time, "Togata lost his quirk but he'll be fine, while Nighteye couldn't be saved."

Lenora felt her heart ache; she didn't know the man, but he was something for Togata and Izuku, he also seemed a great Pro, so she couldn't help but feel tremendously sad apprehending the news. While for Mirio, she wanted to punch the wall hard, only rage on her head. The boy didn't deserve it at all: all those years, that work, that light.

Damn it.

"What about you, sir.? Your shoulder is good?", she slightly turned her head, locking eyes with the teacher.

"You should ask me about your conditions, Lenora," he crossed his arms on his chest, "the cement passed you from side to side, grazing just by some millimeters of your lung. You lost lots of blood. Lots of it. Your costume was soaked in it, and not a single spot was safe. If you didn't stop the bleeding the first time you were hit with your power, you could be dead by now."
