The downfall that started at the end of March, was only getting worse.
"Answer honestly", Aizawa turned toward her, watching her dead in the eyes.
"Yes."
"Did you know?"
"No," she replied, sighing, "I sensed the conflict in him, but I didn't understand why. He was always a good person in my heart, I never felt any bad things coming from him."
Aizawa knew she was sincere. Lenora wasn't a liar, nor a bad person, so if she didn't sense a menace, that meant something else was going on with the student they were going to see.
Together in the back of a car sent by the principal himself, Aizawa had convinced Lenora to accompany him at that meeting.
Everything happened late that morning when Aizawa received the most traumatic call he'd ever replied to. It was Nezu telling him they found the infamous traitor; the council had suspected someone from the League was infiltrated inside the school since the beginning of the school year, but the teachers never found out who was it and neither wanted to believe that one of their students was a spy for the villains. It couldn't be. It was impossible. Or so that was what they believed until that day.
When the call ended, the Pro ran to stop Lenora's training, informing her about what was happening. She broke down crying in his arms, sobbing, feeling the betrayal growing inside her heart. She felt sick knowing that between them all, was Aoyama the one who had broken her heart first. Apparently, the boy had a meltdown after Izuku found him in the woods alone, but Hagakure already heard anything she needed to know while overhearing a conversation between Aoyama and his parents.
Aizawa video-called the class from Ines's garden, telling Aoyama he didn't want to expel him and, after the boy and the other spies were restricted and moved away from the room, he let his colleagues know about the plan he had in mind. No students nor Len weren't supposed to listen, and the girl remained inside the house until he was done, her nerves risking to kill her at any time.
He returned inside, sending her to shower and change; they were about to take a trip to the central hospital, where Aoyama was being taken.
Lenora put on her favorite summer dress, the one Aoyama always complimented her, also one of the few clothes she took when she returned to the dorms a few days prior. She had an idea forming in her mind.
The school sent them a car to a near location, so Ines's address wouldn't be found, and the driver ran fast in the traffic to take them to the hospital as fast as he could.
"C'mon, Lenora", Aizawa opened the car's door even before it stopped and Len did the same, following the man.
The doctor in charge of Aoyama was waiting for Aizawa but nobody told him he would come with a kid too. He stopped them, pointing at the girl.
